Sanofi Group Finished Goods - APT Supply Chain Lead in Waltham, Massachusetts

Specialty Care External Supply Chain Department ensures that from interaction with E2E global planning team till the delivery of Drug Substance, Drug Products or Finished Goods according defined Product flows, all activities pertaining to planning, logistics, artworks, master data management and all transactional tasks with CMOs / CLOs ,are carried out timely to consistently achieve the OTIF, inventory level objectives at an optimized cost


  • Interact with Global Supply Chain team & support S&OP process regarding Supply planning for CMO products in her/his area

  • Contribute to CMO core team and ensure smooth coordination of APT ( Autonomous Production Team) operations with artworks, serialization, operations & quality representatives for an OTIF SCES answer and supply

  • Responsible for physical and financial flow settings from FG Manufacturing step till Market delivery with supportive functions to set up Master data, Price, Business partners in Shift & Score systems and lane validation

  • Manage transactional activities in SHIFT from contacts and purchase orders creation in SAP Shift system till good receipt.

  • Own CMO inventory activities in her/his area: Inventory levels of components and planned production, Inventory monthly, quarterly & year end reconciliation in coordination with Artwork manager and operation leader

  • Manage, organize, and coordinate both financial & physical movements of goods across the network including delivery schedule definition in an optimized way to meet Market priority expectation & SCES Budget optimization in coordinate with Logistics support functions for the execution

  • Monitor the performance of FG CMO product flows in her/his area in a reliable & reportable manner

  • Support integration of systems/processes and supply chain flows across global sites, contract manufacturing organizations and newly acquired entities including change management process for her/his Supply chain area

  • Make decision or escalate any blocking point which may not allow us meeting our requirements

  • Troubleshooting and able to find creative solutions based on a solid understanding of the relevant processes to ensure a high supply performance

  • Carry out root cause analyses in the event of deviations as well as developing solutions and tracking.

This position does not have any direct reports.


  • Bachelor in Supply Chain (or any relevant field such as Business Operation, etc).

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in manufacturing pharmaceutical Supply Chain environment or in a comparable position within a similar business environment (FMCG).

  • Excellent knowledge & mastery of SAP is a must ; strong knowledge of MS office tools desired

  • Knowledge of Supply Network Planning, Demand Management, Manufacturing processes and principles like CMO, forecast accuracy, OTIF etc.

  • Good analytical capabilities, able to set priorities and to navigate autonomously complex and ambiguous environment

  • Ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing

  • Fluent in English. Any additional European language are a plus.


  • Ability to work in a Dynamic environment, adaptability

  • Ability to work on site and remotely
