Multi Country Category Buyer, Outsourcing

Job purpose/Mission

Responsible for execution of Outsourcing strategies following the guidance of the Multi Country Category Manager, Executes and implements regional contracts and global contracts.

Key accountabilities

Strategy

  • Responsible for execution of category strategies: being fully aligned on budget & LRPs , delivering value to the businesses,

  • Contribute to total savings objectives at regional and country level to execute 100% of all levers

  • Ensure procurement technical excellence (TCO, SRM, Market Intel, Risk Management, Innovation, CSR, HSE, compliance, quality…),

Operational

  • Contribute and build within her/his network an ambitious budget and LRP according to BP priorities

  • Manage regional negotiations as well as any country projects and/or supplier issues,

  • Offers new market opportunities (new suppliers, technologies, substitution products, etc.) by networking

  • Coordinate Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) and sustainable development activities for his/her key suppliers

  • Negotiate business conditions in contracts, RFx, projects support in close relationship with the External Manufacturing team (EMG)

  • Optimizes purchasing of goods and services like finished/bulk products, QA services, MOQs, and other business aspects

  • Involved in reporting process and manages monthly PPV reporting

Business Partnering

  • Ensure proper Business partnering at country/countries level, as it pertains to their respective categories,

  • Build an efficient purchasing network, dynamically aligned with respective category management

  • Build a strong sustainable and trustable relationship with the External Manufacturing organization

  • EMG) (Supply Chain, Strategy, Quality, Controlling, etc.)

Category Management

  • Ensure the operational sourcing & action plan follow up for his/her Procurement categories (composed of different spend families) is fully aligned with category management strategy/orientation

  • Support MCC and peers, provides advice and/or participates to their strategic negotiations according to needs

Expected Competencies

  • 3 - 5 years of experience in Procurement / Supply Chain / Sales with contract management experience

  • Capability to manage business and interact with internal stakeholders and suppliers

  • Strategic thinking with operational execution and follow-up

  • Solid listening and communication skills

  • Capability to work in a matrix and complex environment

  • Prioritization skills

  • Procurement or market intelligence background

  • Result oriented

  • Fluent in English

  • International and multi-cultural mindset
