Job Title - Hub Operations Lead

Our Team:

This position is part of Business Operations BU, within Global Hub Operations and Transitions Management organization and reporting to the Bogota / Hyderabad / Budapest / Kuala Lumpur Transition Lead.

Global Transitions Management is the team managing Business Operations transitions to deliver the BO strategic roadmap both now and for the future.

The role will provide project leadership to implement strategic transition initiatives and will be responsible for managing and implementing transitions to deliver value in the end-to-end processes. This role is focused on initiatives of high complexity, that can span transversally across end-to-end process areas and regions, in an environment with a high degree of interdependent changes and advanced technologies.

Main responsibilities:

  • Primarily deputy for Head of Hub and all hubwide matters especially liaising with key support functions e.g. P&C BP, talent acquisition, workplace experience.

  • Represent the Head of the Hub and hub wide interests both internally and externally. For example, collaborating with global/regional stakeholders, business partners and/or liasing with external industry bodies, agencies etc.

  • Support Hub head in developing and constantly updating the hub location strategy, roadmap and operational components

  • Develop & drive hub wide project plan(s) at the right level, identifying sequence of activities, durations, dependencies, milestones, deliverables, resources, etc. Ensure operational policies and processes are consistently applied and adhered to (e.g. legal, regulatory, quality, internal control, etc.)

  • Manage and report on actual progress against plan, providing regular visibility to overall project status (e.g. accomplishments, next steps, issues, risks, action items, interdependencies, etc.)

  • Working closely with Communications and Employee Engagement team, facilitate and drive hubwide stakeholder visits and local events both internal and external and/or workshops as required.

  • Prioritize, challenge, and resolve issues and proactively identify/manage any local hub risks (e.g. Risk Assessments)

  • Communicate and interact with all levels of management, be able to manage multiple hub projects and priorities across the teams and be a ‘hands on’ contributor to prioritize and organize effectively to make decisions and solve problems.

  • Supporting the hub head, effectively plan, forecast and track hub wide financials and hub scorecard and when applicable solve complex issues and improve hub operations.

  • Ability to develop Request for Proposal (RFI/P), Statements of Work (SOW), review/challenge vendor responses, and effectively partner with selected external business partners/experts especially but not solely for large events

  • Working closely with Sanofi Change managers, drive hub wide change management initiatives increase employee adoption and utilization e.g. trainings

About you

  • Experience :

  • 10+ years’ experience

  • Proven experience in GBS industry preferably Global Capability Centers.

  • Operational experience with processes is a plus.

  • Demonstrated understanding of project management methodologies and experience leading & applying their principles and governance processes to projects

  • Experience in Change Management methodologies with demonstrated experience in incorporating Change Management practices into project planning (e.g. Communication plans, assessing impact to users, creating plans to ease implementations, etc.)

  • Proven track record of project oversight

  • Soft skills :

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.

  • Excellent written and oral communication & inter-personal skills.

  • Self-starter, initiative-taker, and ability to work independently under pressure and deliver high level of customer service.

  • Exceptional multi-tasker, able to establish priorities and timelines.

  • Ability to lead and motivate teams including indirect reporting relationships across multiple geographies. Establish and maintain strong relationships, working effectively with all levels in the organization.

  • Efficient analytical skills; attention to detail.

  • Adaptability to work in ambiguous, constantly changing situations, including flexibility in working hours to accommodate working with different regions/geographies.

  • Ability to develop high-quality presentations.

  • Technical skills :

  • Programs, Project and/or Change Management certification (e.g. MSP, PMP, Prosci) is a plus.

  • Agile certification (e.g. Scrum Master, Product Owner, etc.) is a plus.

  • Knowledge of LEAN/Six Sigma/Continuous Improvement (CI) methodologies – Certifications in these areas a plus.

  • Education : Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a business or project management related field.

  • Languages : Fluent in English (minimum of strong B2 level required).
