Position Summary:

This position is responsible for the overall marketing strategy and the tactical plan for one of our flagship vaccine. When it comes to implementation this individual is responsible to lead the cross-functional team to ensure strategic alignment, effective tactical implementation, impactful stakeholder management, risk mitigation and supply management such that the overall franchise objectives are met both in the short and long term.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Development and implementation of marketing platforms with a focus on optimizing ROI and contribute to Sales and Profit Margins objectives and ensure that commercial and strategic objectives are achieved.

  • Ensure cross-functional teams are aligned with strategic imperatives.

  • Product Launches and Life-cycle management for portfolio.

  • Lead projects in collaboration with local and global cross-functional teams and external partners (Agencies, PAAB and ASC).

  • Develop and maintain effective working relationship with Global counterparts to ensure alignment to global strategies and plans.

  • Evaluate financial and production forecasts through participation in Demand Review Process meetings and updating product forecasts.

  • Support other operational activities including business planning processes (long range plan and budget).

  • Accountable for the managing specific projects and tracking of activities as it pertains to the Canadian BU.

  • Show support for the protection of health, safety and the environment by presenting exemplary behavior and by contributing to the HSE objectives achievement.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, MBA or graduate degree a plus.

  • Minimum two or three (2-3) years of direct Sales, in vaccine or pharmaceutical industries preferred.

  • Minimum three to five (3-5) years product management experience or equivalent in related area.

  • Proven experience in project leadership/management and project team contribution.

  • Strong results orientation i.e. has a proactive, business-oriented focus with the resolve to set challenging goals and demonstrate the commitment and persistence to achieve them.

  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, change-oriented environment.

  • Proven ability to function effectively and easily at all levels of the organization.

  • Possess excellent technical aptitude and marketing ability skills with a proven ability to innovate.

  • Strong analytical / problem solving skills.

  • Demonstrate superb written, verbal and presentation skills.

  • Business planning skills.

  • Must demonstrate all the P2W Behaviors.

  • Computer literacy including word processing, spreadsheets, email and presentation software.


  • Fluency in English, with additional skills in French as an asset.


  • Willing to travel within and outside of country (up to 20%) as required to meet business needs.
