iMove, the Sanofi VIE Program, is available to citizens of the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28.

We are looking for: Junior Buyer, Events & Medical Operations - VIE Contract (W/M)
Target start date: 01/01/2022
Junior Buyer, Events & Medical Operations:
Implement the global procurement strategies to manage optimally the Medical & Commercial function spends as appropriate when related to Events and Medical Communications
Project management across procurement categories to deliver on time sourcing
Maintain knowledge of strategic suppliers and support tools allowing appropriate oversights
Early engage and connect to improve communication and delivery and overall customer experience
Support procurement awareness across communities of stakeholders (e.g. by providing training on procurement processes and strategy)
Be a main contact for North American operations for Medical Communication sourcing for internal stakeholders and key major suppliers
Ensure sourcing process is aligned with procurement category strategy
Complete and monitor all finance, business, operations and legal requirements as related to procurement
Support the most strategic negotiations for M&S (Modelling and Simulation) procurement topics as well as any major supplier issues, represent procurement on key governances as assigned ensuring active participation
Ensure source to Pay (end to end) processes continually improve and provide needs to other Business Transformation functions and procurement domains
Key “MUST HAVE” competencies, skills & experiences
- Master’s Degree in Purchasing, Procurement, Management or another related field
Previous healthcare industry experience including experience in Procurement or Pharma experience is desired
Demonstrated project management capabilities/experience
Good understanding of finance, business, operations, and legal aspects
Knowledge and understanding of the drug development and marketing processes would be a plus
- Proficiency with MS Office Package
- Fluent English
