Responsible for developing, deploying, and executing corporate communication programs, as well as developing compelling communications platforms that reach engage and motivate target audience; both external and internal. In support of business strategy, will develop and deploy communication plan with county leadership team and GBU team members, collaborating with global corporate/CSR team.

Key Duties/Responsibilities

  • This position is dedicated to managing Internal and External Communications to enhance company/product visibility and reliability as well as engaging people of the growing sector of Sanofi towards further and sustainable business growth.

  • Develop focused plans with key internal stakeholders, keeping in mind their objectives/priorities, key initiatives to raise Sanofi’s corporate awareness as well as increase awareness of corporate brand and activities such as DE&I, ESG, R&D, CSR, social impact and other personnel affairs with best optimized media / SNS approach collaboration for preferred story exposures.

  • Plan and execute internal communications in alignment with local senior management team, global team and other business units to take coherent strategic approach to syndicate and penetrate corporate directions.

  • Collaborate and manage PR agency and/or other external agencies to deploy communication plans more effectively and efficiently.

  • Lead corporate communication considering broader work environment and foster relationships with partners, experts from other functions and customers in order to achieve tactical objectives.

  • Mentor junior colleagues in corporate/product/Business unit communication if any.

Specific requirements/duties include:

  • At least 5years experience in communications.

  • Previous experience working with/in media, PR and communications agencies.

  • Experiences using multiple communications challenges beyond traditional PR including digital channels.

  • Experience of dealing with media-led issues and understanding of media coverage to handle risk/crisis management.

  • Good knowledge of local code of practice and regulations in pharmaceutical industries.

  • Coordinates internal stakeholders (regulatory, R&D, marketing, global. etc.) to create outputs under a Sanofi One Voice principles.

  • Assists and propose senior management and leadership with strategic planning for raising visibility and profiles of focused product with well-thought targets.

  • Joins trade associations if necessary, in concerned areas.

  • Solid writing skills in Japanese. Business level English fluency required to interact with global counterparts and comprehending materials.

  • Drives consistent engagement with Corporate Affairs (Communications and Public Affairs) stakeholders with compliance, transparency, and best practice stakeholder management principles.

  • Performs other duties as required.
