Manufacturing Excellence Change Leader
Promote the Manufacturing Excellence mindset and drive continuous improvement of the Vaccine Industrial Affairs (VIA) organization by applying the Sanofi Manufacturing System (SMS) Standards, Fit4Future Transformation Methodology and Ways of Working as well as other Improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, TOC…).
1. The Sanofi Manufacturing System & Fit4Future Deployment
Support the deployment and maturity of the Sanofi Manufacturing System (SMS) standards to Manufacturing Operating Units and Support Functions (Operating Management System, +QDCI, Daily Capacity Management, Skills Matrix, Process Confirmation, Value Stream Board, Obeya, Standard Agenda, Problem Solving, etc.) Ensure alignment of SMS standards with the site and corporate requirements; documentation of standards so they can be easily implemented and replicated and auditing areas to the standards that are implemented.
Apply Fit4Future transformation methodologies to rapidly accelerate the performance of the IA organization by improving Ways of Working, Industrial Culture, and Operating Systems.
Fit4Future is a multiyear strategic transformation program designed to significantly improve performance across the Vaccines industrial sites and support functions through a fast-paced implementation of the Sanofi Manufacturing System (SMS). The program is comprised of rapid improvement initiatives that roll out in waves across sites and functions with the goal to establish Sanofi Pasteur as a leader in Vaccines production with externally benchmarked Top-Tier performance.
2. Manufacturing Excellence
Assist functional teams in the identification of improvements to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Involvement and ensure alignment with site/function strategy; brainstorming ideas from Gemba walks, shop floor issues coming from performance boards, global and site goals and objectives.
Align activities and improvements to support the Manufacturing Excellence Vision and Mission; evaluate initiatives against the Fit4Future approach, global SMS (Sanofi Manufacturing System), and the ME (Manufacturing Excellence) vision and mission.
Examines the relationship between VIA processes and Key Performance Indicators (KPI). Performs analysis and/or modeling to scope, quantify and visualize business opportunities. Conveys the analysis into meaningful representations for business decisions. Assist in the establishment of KPI and performance standards; challenging leading vs lagging indicators, identifying the behaviors the indicators drive and keeping KPIs focused on current issues, and objectives.
Scope and dimensions:
An Integrated approach across the total value stream within the plant to improve performance. Improvements and projects to be focused on improving overall business performance (cycle time, cost, quality and customer service) and will provide significant breakthrough improvements to the business.
Primarily the VIA organization, with cross-functional involvement throughout the organization to implement operational or transactional improvement projects.
Internal and external customer focus on Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Involvement. Based on the scope of projects, the impact and involvement will be both local and global from the shop floor to the ILT (Industrial Leadership Team) members.
SMS Deployment and maturity
Adherence to the global and site SMS standards
Fit4Future program execution and replication
Creation, improvement, and implementation of new/existing performance standards
Workshop planning and execution
Provide Coaching & Feedback on the use of standards
Execution of activities within the Manufacturing Excellence team to support internal programs
Freedom to act, level of autonomy:
Individual contributor working with cross-functional teams. Responsible for own day to day direction with feedback to Director

- Bachelors Degree
Experience in continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, TOC…)
Experience Operating cGMP environment
