Sanofi Group Manager Scheduling & Execution in Swiftwater, Pennsylvania
Summary of purpose/major responsibilities
The Manager Scheduling & Execution serves as a key liaison between the focus factory (Antigen, FFIP, BSA) and Operations Planning. This position leads the development and maintenance of the production schedules for manufacturing factories at Sanofi Pasteur US. This position is responsible for ensuring focus factory schedules are aligned to the long-term production plans and tangible in order to meet all commercial and non-commercial demands. This includes monitoring consumption and planning supply replenishment for the 0-12 week scheduling/execution horizon. Responsible for overseeing all aspects of the manufacturing steps including Quality testing, and Batch Release. This position ensures that all inventory levels support corporate objectives while ensuring delivery of product.
Liaison between operations planning and the manufacturing focus factory as single point of contact for all production activities relating to that focus factory. Leads teams and projects as needed to support the manufacturing goals of the site.
Prepare and communicate focus factory activities in support of the Master Production Schedule. Ensure 12 weeks production schedules are attainable. Ensure all raw materials are available to support the short-term production schedule.
Prepares execution schedules to meet the delivery plans and includes any EM, Validation, APS plans into the 12-week schedule. Includes CM01/Process order management.
Responsible for prioritization of manufacturing schedules to meet the promised delivery dates. This includes all execution activities related to delivery from schedule to release of the product. Change controls, incidents, testing, production and batch release activities are tracked and followed up on.
Monitors activity and reports metrics on +QDCI boards. Reviews Capacity Analysis including load versus capacity. Responsible for reporting for the IO Manufacturing area, working with the team to perform root cause analysis when needed. Monitors and tracks inventory levels to ensure adequate supply and minimal write offs.
Liaison between Swiftwater and other Pasteur manufacturing sites for cross site manufacturing to ensure US supply is in line with commercial operations forecast requirements.
Minimum BS degree in Supply Chain, Life Science, Business Management or related field.
3-5 relevant professional experience in Supply Chain, Pharmaceutical or Manufacturing.
Strong understanding of MRP/ERP planning concepts. SAP experience preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills are required.
Ability to work within a team environment and lead cross-functional teams.
- APICS Certification in Inventory Management (CPIM) or Supply Chain (CSCP).
