Sanofi Group Manager- Electrical Engineering in Swiftwater, Pennsylvania

Manager - Electrical Engineering is responsible for reliable performance of Site’s Electrical infrastructure. The position is responsible for day to day electrical troubleshooting, electrical design calculations and upkeep of electrical documentation on all electrical systems serving Swiftwater site.

Key Accountability

Key stakeholder for the life-cycle management of electrical assets. This includes being the liaison for electrical equipment / system modifications and Preventative Maintenance (PM) review/modification, to improve operation, uptime and efficiency. Provide electrical support to manufacturing equipment, identifying and managing electrical projects and assist with coordination of electrical repair during shutdowns.

Liaison with the Engineering department where it will be required to review all new projects for electrical needs. This will include such things as design calculations, developing maintenance plans, installation correlation to design (or the subsequent documentation with as built drawings and commissioning).

Through individual contribution and leading teams coordinate all electrical changes with CAD team, reconcile electrical changes within existing electrical drawings, reviewing final electrical drawings and approving them within drawing management system.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and good documentation practices are followed to track all work and make data analysis efficient.

Support a strong Maintenance Safety Culture that encourages taking the right amount of time to perform each task safely.

Work with Site Engineering to develop and manage the Electrical Engineering Standards.

Strong ability to drive initiatives and influence changes.

Key stakeholder for the life-cycle management of electrical assets.


BS EE required

Technical experience in construction, predictive and preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and operation of electrical distribution systems at a large industrial site. Experience with power distribution equipment including medium voltage switchgear, transformers, relays, generators, automatic transfer switches, UPS, low voltage switchgear, and industrial building distribution.

Proficient in reading and interpreting associated electrical drawings.

Ability to lead small projects as a project manager.
