Sanofi Group Manager Associate Process Engineer - Vaccine in Swiftwater, Pennsylvania


The major/overall purpose of the job:

  • Secure reliable and sustainable supply

  • Enable IA network and partnership development for market access expansion

  • Foster innovative high-performance products and solutions to patients


  • 15% - Demonstrate cross-functional teamwork across platforms in MTech, VIA, R&D, and external to Sanofi.

  • 5%- Responsible for coaching, training, and development of employees.

  • 15% - Responsible for managing deliverables and objectives for safe and compliant execution.

  • 10% - Effectively communicate information to platform and MTECH management.

  • 50% - Leading or supporting technical process improvements and portfolio execution.

  • 5% - Support the site for all internal and external audits and regulatory inspections.

  • Comply with platform procedures training

  • Comply with cGMP and other internal and external quality and regulatory guidance.

  • Comply with health and safety guidelines

  • Provide input to and implement Global MTech strategies and programs


  • A technical contributor within the field of expertise

  • Participate in the network for the field of expertise, within Sanofi Pasteur.

  • Identification and support of product/process improvements.

  • Leads problem-solving where analysis of situations of defined scope or data requires an in-depth evaluation of identifiable factors.

  • Assist in the technical transfer and industrialization of processes from MTECH to the cGMP anufacturing facilities across the site.

  • Write protocols, reports, procedures, and memos as needed to support industrialization activities

  • Lead/ support troubleshooting activities


  • Behaves according to company values and competencies.

  • Influences internally; forward-thinking with an attitude of collaboration, optimization, efficiency, continuous improvement.

  • Proactively anticipates and effectively communicates successes, constraints, conflicts, solutions, and actions for resolution.

  • Proactively resolves conflicts, removes roadblocks to execution within the sphere of influence; escalates to functional management when appropriate.

  • Fosters relationships with partners, experts from other functions, and customers in order to achieve technical objectives.

Bachelor’s or Masters in basic sciences, math, engineering, or pharmacy. The candidate should possess educational and professional experience, commensurate with the position.
