Sanofi Group Manager, Aseptic Performance and Monitoring - Vaccines in Swiftwater, Pennsylvania


This position will support the Aseptic Performance and Monitoring (APM) Department’s Process Performance Platform. The quality professional will use data management and statistical software to assist in the analysis of process data. This is an entry level position for an individual who will be trained on use of data analytics tools and methodologies.

Key Accountabilities:

This role will support process experts through trending of process data. This individual will create control charts and trends for routine process monitoring. The candidate will also support deviation investigations by generating equipment and process trends specific to the investigation. A common set of digital tools will be used to trend data from different production platforms across site. The candidate will also be trained on and expected to become proficient in the use of statistical analysis software.

Other responsibilities may include the following:

  • Author departmental documents (protocols, reports, procedures)

  • Perform GEMBA walks of production areas and interface with mechanics and production to identify and help implement process improvements

  • Assist with process improvement projects as directed by APM Director or Deputy Directors

  • Assist other APM platforms as directed by APM Director or Deputy Director

  • Lead, Manage, and Author investigation reports, change controls, and APM specific studies as required and assigned


  • BS in Life Sciences, Engineering, or similar technical field. Alternately, 5+ years of directly relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.


  • The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills and knowledge of statistical analysis including control charting methodologies.

  • Familiarity with Pi Vision, JMP software, and expert level excel knowledge are highly desirable.

  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical equipment and processes and cGMP manufacturing is also desirable.
