Sanofi Group Business Relations Manager, West, Rare Blood Disorders in Salt Lake City, Utah
The Business Relations Manager (BRM), Cablivi, will be a key contributor to the Rare Bleeding Disorders Franchise as a field subject matter related to the ultra-rare disease aTTP and our novel therapy, supporting patients’ access to therapy. The BRM will provide expertise on hospital stocking, coverage and reimbursement, budget impact models, billing and coding, contracting, financial assistance offerings and other business related issues within the Cablivi field teams. The BRM will support a field sales region and as such will collaborate closely with sales personnel, hospital pharmacies, payers and specialty pharmacy. This position will initially report to the Senior Director, Rare Diseases and will allow the successful candidate the opportunity to shape a successful launch of the first-ever specific therapy for aTTP.
The BRM will be support the west sales region and be responsible for:
Working with all stakeholders to ensure the patient journey moves smoothly by collaborating with the sales teams, market access, patient services and the specialty pharmacy
Presenting the economic value story to hospital stakeholders
Helping hospital procure the product
Coordinating at key centers in cities including: St. Louis, Rochester MN, Denver, Salt Lake City, Los Angeles and Seattle
BA/BS Degree required, preferably in life science or business, MBA a plus
Minimum 7+ years' experience in the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry
4-7+ years pharmaceutical/biotech business relations experience with a hospital drug, and with demonstrated exceptional results
Ability to travel 75%
Demonstrated success of cross functional teamwork and working in a matrix environment (sales, market access, customer service, medical affairs, marketing, etc…)
Hospital inpatient experience preferred
Hematology products and physician reimbursement experience preferred
Must be energetic and driven to succeed
Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and communication skills required
Strong understanding and experience supporting products, especially in the provider office and health care facility settings of care
Significant experience and understanding of the ever changing payer environment and its impact on patient access to products infused in provider offices and health care facility settings of care.
Must achieve and maintain compliance with all applicable Genzyme policies and procedures and regulatory and legal requirements, and require the same of his/her team
- 70-80% Travel, depending on geography
