Sanofi Group Material Handler II in Ridgefield, New Jersey
Position Hours: Second Shift Hours 2:00pm - 10:30pm (including overtime and weekends)
The Warehouse Material Handler II will be required to be cross-trained and able to fulfill business needs in all areas of the warehouse. The Warehouse Handler is responsible for the fulfillment, packing and verification for all orders needed for production. This position requires the associate to gain knowledge of and adhere to HSE, GMP and SOP requirements while maintaining operational efficiencies. The Warehouse Handler is expected to perform multiple (some non-routine) tasks that in many cases require judgment and accuracy. Must be able to be certified and operate powered industrial vehicles (forklifts) and other warehouse equipment (pallet wrappers, hand carts, etc.) in a safe manner.
Unload and load trucks with forklifts; e.g., sit down, standup, ride-on, walkie (certification a plus)
Use ERP or inventory systems (e.g., SAP)
Perform cycle counting and investigate inventory discrepancies
Pick and kit orders for Production
Drive 26 ft. rental truck (NO CDL required)
Operate and maintain forklifts
Ability to follow SOPs for Safety and GMP compliance
Troubleshoot minor equipment (forklifts, handheld scanning devices, automatic stretch wrap machine) or process issues
Assist in monitoring department workload and training of peers
Ability to work independently with complex data
Stringent guidelines must be followed to ensure product integrity is maintained while in transit and during storage
Dangerous Goods, Hazmat and IATA training a plus
Education: High School Diploma or GED
A minimum of one year of work experience in a warehouse
Valid Driver’s License
Experience with inventory systems
Data entry experience is required to perform processing responsibilities
Prior SAP Experience
Warehouse Experience in a Biotech or Pharmaceutical Company
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
