Community Relations & Education Manager (CoRe) – Pennsylvania, West Virginia
We are seeking a passionate, empathetic and committed individual to be the trusted resource for hemophilia patients and families within this territory. Our team has the privilege of representing Sanofi Genzyme within the communities we serve, providing branded and unbranded education and supporting patients to reduce barriers to therapy. Education and Patient Engagement
Engages with local hemophilia chapters to identify patient and family needs regarding education and accessing therapy
Provides therapy, wellness and lifestyle education to the community by conducting programs and engaging with families directly
Supports new families initiating treatment and seeks to reduce administrative barriers to adherence to ensure a positive patient experience for all Sanofi Genzyme patients
Builds relationships within the community and represents Sanofi Genzyme at local patient events
Territory Management and Planning
Develops and maintains territory plans to identify local community education needs. Utilizes CRM to manage territory and record activities
Provides field insights into the creation of new strategies and tactics. Represents the patient’s voice to the home office. Identifies new ways to support patients
Ensures close cross-functional collaboration with Case Managers, Marketing, Medical, Sales and Market Access as appropriate to ensure consistent integrated implementation of strategies and tactics
Strong team player to assist with other CoRes to support patients
Ensures compliance with Sanofi Genzyme policies
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience with engaging patients and caregivers with rare/chronic conditions. At least 3-5 years’ experience in hemophilia care or advocacy role required
Proven experience with presentation and facilitation skills
Proven ability to partner cross-functionally
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required. Advanced degree in business, nursing, or medical field preferred
Flexible and willing and able to travel 50-80% time within PA/WV and national events. Majority of patient engagement occurs on nights and weekends
Preferred location: Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Charleston WV
Language requirements: English required and Spanish preferred
Valid driver’s license
Terms of employment
This position requires frequent travel within the region to attend patient events and business meetings, including nights and weekends. He/she must live in the region due to travel requirements.
