Sanofi Group Product Manager, Digital Strategy & Transformation - Vaccines in Moosic, Pennsylvania

Summary:

The Product Manager, Digital Strategy & Transformation is responsible for co-leading the development and execution of the digital strategy and creation of the customer engagement roadmap for the VaxServe digital marketing team. Additionally, this person will co-lead the development of external facing vaccination solutions and tools that creation differentiation for VaxServe in the marketplace while enhancing customer retention and driving incremental sales.

This person will work closely with the VaxServe segment marketing team members to ensure that market-specific needs are supported and digital strategies are actively developed and managed. The position will liaise and align with other key stakeholders including but is not limited to Sanofi Pasteur digital marketing, digital ITS, sales, and other business units.

This person will be responsible for managing multiple digital and creative agencies, including both day-to-day tactical initiatives as well as the longer-term strategic vision development. They will coordinate all activities with external and internal partners to ensure project objectives and key milestones are achieved as planned. This position manages a significant operational budget and has considerable exposure to the management team.

Key Responsibilities:

Digital Strategy & Transformation:

  • Identify market opportunities and customer needs for the purpose of delivering new, innovative solutions

  • Support the development and execution of the digital strategy and creation of the customer engagement roadmap

  • Create a differentiated digital portfolio approach that is scalable and founded on customer needs

  • Develop plan to demonstrate value of solutions to sustain a separate revenue stream within prioritized customer segments

  • Co-lead development, purchase, partnership, etc. efforts of new innovative solutions

  • Manage agency partners in order to achieve deliverables and meet digital team goals

  • Work with segment marketing teams to develop cohesive field engagement strategies to support digital solutions portfolio

Customer Experience:

  • Create the customer experience strategy for the VaxServe business unit

  • Oversee the collection and processing / measurement of customer feedback from all channels including digital surveys, inboxes, website analytics, etc.

  • Distribute key measurements and insights to key stakeholders within the organization while providing recommendations for future initiatives

  • Assist with user journey optimization to ensure a first-class website experience for customers and other users.

  • Proactively research potential user journey upgrades to the current platforms and provide recommendations

  • Ensure leadership is kept abreast of all important updates through regular touch points.

eCommerce Customer Segment Management:

  • Proactively identify market/segment opportunities based on changing customer expectations and competitive activities and trends and adapt the team strategies accordingly

  • Remain abreast of the market, the competition and the environment. Act as an information resource to all of VaxServe’s functional areas.

  • Identify and propose new strategies and projects, which will enhance the performance of the product/segment

Business Planning:

  • Lead the preparation and organization of team presentations for marketing plans in accordance with the planning cycle. These plans are to include objectives, strategies, tactics, market expenses, sales and profit forecasts.

  • Engage and manage agencies to develop promotional materials; provide input into design and layout; manage the editing, proofing and revision of material to ensure compliance with Sanofi’s policies. Mentor team members in this process.

  • Coordinate successful, timely, and compliant execution of promotional materials through the MMRP review process, following established technical document and submission requirements while meeting internal timeline requirements.

  • Have a complete understanding of and be able to effectively communicate marketplace events and trends that influence the performance on SP brands

Communication & Coordination:

  • Manage relationships with key functional groups (segment marketing teams, Sales, ITS, Sanofi Pasteur, etc.) and ensure strategies are aligned across all areas and progress is measured

  • Routinely meet with sales and customers to enhance market knowledge.

  • Keep the sales force promptly and accurately informed on industry trends, competition, and digital offering updates

  • Conduct regular stakeholder meetings with Sales, other Marketing teams and Analytics/Reporting to understand effectiveness of deployed strategies/tactics and adapt as needed.

The Product Manager, Digital Strategy & Transformation must have a solid understanding of digital marketing tactics and experience developing digital strategy. This candidate must demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects at once, while trouble-shooting any problems that arise and suggesting creative solutions. Must demonstrate business and system knowledge and show creativity in utilizing tools and finding ways to meet both internal and external customer requests. This will require teamwork, communication, and project management skills on many levels. Experience with customer-facing communication a plus.

Education/Experience:

  • BA/BS Degree in Marketing, Digital, Business Management or related discipline

  • 5 years of Marketing experience in Digital and/or eCommerce Marketing

  • Team leadership or management a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational and project management skills with demonstrated ability to help lead multiple projects and handle multiple priorities

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to gain consensus among cross-functional teams and build positive working relationships

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced, innovative and performance driven environment
