Your job, as Head of Global Product Launches within the product launch organization will be to lead all activities to support the launch of our unprecedented pipeline of medicines and vaccines (28 launches by 2029) with several new modalities, increasing portfolio diversity and simultaneous launch in key countries. You will manage multiple interfaces, influence global senior managers, and lead a team to ensure all launch activities are managed and executed as per defined timelines, removing roadblocks and prioritizing in collaboration with Global Business Units Manufacturing &Supply (M&S) Chain Heads.

The team will focus on preparation of End-to-End launch plans starting two years before the launch and 1-2 years post launch to secure the execution.

Main responsibilities:

As Head of Global Product Launches you will:

  • Define the Product launch strategy and oversee comprehensive product launch strategies, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables for all products in the launch pipeline. Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as R&D, Chemistry Manufacturing Controls (CMC), Supply Chain, Operations, and Regulatory Affairs to ensure end-to-end alignment and successful execution of the launch plan

  • Influence and communicate effectively with global senior leaders to ensure buy-in and support for the launch strategy and plans.

  • Lead and manage a team of Launch Leaders to ensure all launch activities are completed on time and within budget

  • Monitor and report on launch progress and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines

  • Work closely with CMC/Development, Operations, Manufacturing Science Analytics Technologies (MSAT), and Quality functions.

  • Launch Engine Ecosystem: define standards in collaboration with CMC and M&S functions for process development

  • Implement and operationalize launch units Drug Substance (DS) and Drug Product (DP) across sites and global M&S functions

About you

  • Significant experience at global level in managing pharmaceutical product launches

  • Track record in leading global strategic transformations and embracing digital innovation to democratize data and drives continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, safety, and cost effectiveness

  • Have the E2E vision of the business, prioritizing the common interest for the benefit of Sanofi and the patients. Can connect the dots for their team and keep them engaged with the vision

  • Unleash the potential of each one and prepare the leaders of the future

  • Strong leadership with great communication and relationship building skills.

  • Oral and written fluency in English, another language represents an asset
