Sanofi Group Senior Associate Scientist in Framingham, Massachusetts

Position Overview:

Sanofi’s US In Vivo Research Center (IVRC) within the Translational In Vivo Models (TIM) Platform plays a key role in advancing the global research pipeline. The IVRC team encompasses a team of Scientists, Laboratory Animal Technicians, Animal Care Technicians, facility managers, veterinarian and vet tech, whose goal is to support the execution of in vivo studies involving disease models and assessment of efficacy, PK, bio-distribution and toxicology following therapeutic interventions across a wide range of modalities and indications. The team works closely with Research Therapeutic Area scientists and Research Platform departments to drive in vivo activities across Sanofi’s pipeline. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join the team as a Digital and Data Application Specialist. The position will be based in Framingham and eventually at our Cambridge Crossing site with a flexible work policy applied.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The Digital and Data Application Specialist will be responsible for oversight of digital applications, data capture software and compliance systems - Provantis, Tick@lab, Benchling and Microchipping systems.

  • Subject matter expert (SME) for troubleshooting on these applications and liaising with vendors for maintenance and issue resolution.

  • Registering and training new users.

  • Responsible for tracking and logging IVRC based trainings in compliance with Sanofi policies and regulatory bodies.

  • Support AAALAC accreditation preparations.

  • Maintenance of IVRC communication portals - Sharepoint, Buzz page, distribution lists.

  • Archiving facility paperwork and training records.

  • Stay up-to-date and be familiar with new digital technologies that can improve ways of working and quality and compliance of data capture within the IVRC.

  • Develop collaborative relationships with key stakeholders within the IVRC, TIM research platform and therapeutic area scientists.

  • Ability to work independently and proactively.

  • Strong interpersonal influencing and collaboration skills to work in a team-oriented, matrix environment.

  • Ability to adapt to and effectively manage change in a fast paced and dynamic environment.

  • Flexibility to travel between sites in Cambridge and Framingham when needed.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree plus minimum 4 years of relevant research experience in an academic or biopharmaceutical setting OR Master’s Degree plus minimum 1 year of relevant research experience in an academic or biopharmaceutical setting OR 10+ years of relevant research experience in an academic or biopharmaceutical setting.

  • Must have permanent US work authorization.
