Sanofi Group •Senior Associate Scientist, Gene Therapy Research, Rare and Neurologic Diseases Therapeutic Area in Framingham, Massachusetts

We are seeking a Senior Associate Scientist to be part of a team focused on AAV capsid engineering. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the Gene Therapy Research group in identifying improved AAV capsids to enable gene therapy programs from early discovery research through development, in a variety of disease areas including neuromuscular, CNS, metabolic and renal.


  • BS or MS in a field of biology / biochemistry with 4 - 6 years of experience

  • Experience in molecular biology techniques for both DNA and RNA, TaqMan and ddPCR assays, cell culture

  • Prior experience with AAV vectors and Next Generation Sequencing preferred

  • Strong written and oral communication skills
