We are seeking a Senior Associate Scientist to be part of a team focused on AAV capsid engineering. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the Gene Therapy Research group in identifying improved AAV capsids to enable gene therapy programs from early discovery research through development, in a variety of disease areas including neuromuscular, CNS, metabolic and renal.
BS or MS in a field of biology / biochemistry with 4 - 6 years of experience
Experience in molecular biology techniques for both DNA and RNA, TaqMan and ddPCR assays, cell culture
Prior experience with AAV vectors and Next Generation Sequencing preferred
Strong written and oral communication skills
