Sanofi Group Postdoctoral Fellowship: Translational Medicine and Early Development in Framingham, Massachusetts
The Translational Medicine and Early Development organization is looking for a Post Doc Fellow with cellular and molecular immunology expertise to investigate a new image cytometry-based technology for implementation in future late stage and/or large clinical studies.
Current clinical programs rely on traditional flow cytometry to assess mechanism of action, target engagement and safety & efficacy biomarkers. These studies may be conducted globally and are constrained by sample stability and shipment costs. The proposed project is to evaluate an innovative technology platform that allows for biobanking cells on a chip for long-term storage and eventual biomarker interrogation. The proposal is to confirm the technology's robustness and suitability for clinical trials followed by exploring and making recommendations for other potential uses of the application.
The fellow will have a unique opportunity to collaborate with US and European laboratories and will be part of the TMED Special Technology Team in Flow cytometry. Additionally gain experience in implementing an innovative technology in a regulated environment.
The candidate must have working knowledge of immunological mechanisms involved in autoimmune diseases/cancer and have expertise in flow cytometry including management and analysis of high dimensional data sets (aka "big data").
PhD from an accredited university in Immunology with at least 1-2 years of industry/academic experience
Must have US work authorization
- Basic French and/or German
