Sanofi Group Post Doc Biomarkers in Framingham, Massachusetts
We are seeking a scientist to support mass spectrometry-based targeted proteomics approaches for biomarker discovery/qualification to endorse clinical studies, diagnostics and toxicology. The primary responsibility will be development/optimization of the highly multiplexed quantitative assay of protein biomarkers (MRM proteomics, DIA proteomics) in complex biological samples such as blood, plasma, cerebrospinal fluid, urine and other fluids/tissues.
Employ in-depth technical knowledge in the field of analytical experiment design and execution often working independently to design and implement a series of experiments. A successful candidate must have strong organization skills and ability to write technical reports. The candidate will collaborate widely with biologists and internal colleagues to develop/execute sample preparation methods, design a mass spectrometry workflow, generate and summarize the proteomics data.
The hands-on experience with various analytical/bioanalytical tools is essential. Experience in the area of MS-based proteomics including sample fractionation, protein digestion and recovery techniques for challenging protein mixtures are desired.
Experience with data processing and proteomics database search is plus.
Strong communication and writing skills are essential.
PhD in the area of life science (chemistry, biochemistry, etc.) with 0-2 years
