Sanofi Group Manufacturing Logistics Coordinator in Framingham, Massachusetts

*12-hour rotating day shift position including rotating holidays and weekends. Overtime as per business needs*

*Will be supporting and rotating working out of Bldg(s)- 8NYA, 45/51 and 74/76*

The Manufacturing Logistics Coordinator (MLC) provides plant operations with raw materials per production schedule. The MLC also requests, receives, stores, and transfers

controlled materials compliant with cGMP practices and receives minimal instructions on routine assignments while working under supervision, and detailed instructions on new

work, which is closely supervised and reviewed.

Department Description

The department mission is to execute a system of business practices to conduct strategic planning and identify budget (capacity & resources) required to meet product demand.

The department drives deployment of business plans targeted to meet strategic objectives and product campaign execution from seed to release of bulk drug substance, including

maintaining the 18 month plan in the ERP system to drive direct material requirements so to provide adequate supply of materials to make medicine per plan.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate distribution delivery with manufacturing requirements.

  • Receive, verify, scans, and stocks materials.

  • Pick, de-trash, sanitize, and delivers materials to manufacturing.

  • May assist in determining possible and actual shortages.

  • Perform inventory transactions within the manufacturing systems, including cycle counting.

  • Order and deliver indirect supplies and materials.

  • Collect and store manufacturing samples.

  • May handle hazardous, temperature, and time sensitive materials.

  • Verify accuracy of work performed.

  • Transport samples between buildings.

  • Assist in determining possible root causes of cycle count error and may initiate action to correct these deficiencies.

  • May coordinate hazardous waste removal.

Basic Qualifications

  • High School Diploma and 3 - 5 years of related experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in cGMP environment.

  • Experience using MRP/ERP systems.

Special Working Conditions

  • Requires standing and walking up to 80% of day.

  • Requires material handling activities which could include lifting, bending, stretching, pushing and pulling.

  • Requires working in an industrial manufacturing environment including gowning.

  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs

  • Requires currant drivers license

  • Requires Operating company vehicle as needed.
