Sanofi Group Engineer II, MSAT Digital in Framingham, Massachusetts
This position is responsible for supporting lab automation projects representing MSAT for the lab automation topics including the development of automated analytical methods. Key Responsibilities are listed below and may change over time in accordance with business needs.
Lead the automated analytical method development and transfer. Develop best practices to optimize and increase the speed of automated analytical method development. Provide lifecycle support to the client teams post-method transfer. Guide and support peer MSAT Digital team members involved in automated analytical method development.
Support the lab automation program leader through owning and driving 2-3 lab automation projects. The lab automation projects will include conceptualization, development and use of lab automation tools to increase speed and productivity of process development activities.
Scientific SME on the communications with lab automation vendors for the automated analytical methods.
Promote an interest in lab automation topics within global MSAT through seminars, presentations etc.
Develop and maintain awareness on lab of the future and lab automation technologies and their relevance to Sanofi’s needs.
M.S. in Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Biochemistry or related fields with 2 years biopharmaceutical industry experience in lab automation or digital technologies.
Alternatively, B.S. with 5 years biopharmaceutical industry experience will be considered.
Demonstrated experience with lab automation, digital technologies and/or process analytical technologies.
Prior experience working in a team structure.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Ability to function independently with minimal active oversight.
