Sanofi Consumer Healthcare US (formerly known as Chattem) is a leading marketer and manufacturer of a broad portfolio of branded over-the-counter (OTC) healthcare products, in such categories as allergy, upper and lower gastrointestinal, skin care, topical pain care, oral care and other OTC toiletry products. Sanofi CHC Chattanooga is seeking a motivated individual o join our Analytical QA groupwho is results-oriented and eager to learn. This position will support the Industrial Affairs division by utilizing their chemistry expertise and laboratory skills. An understanding of cGMPs, strong communication skills, and the ability to adapt to a fast-pace environment will make you a valuable member of the team.
Performs laboratory techniques in the support of process validation, packaging validation, and cleaning validation samples
Performs analysis of accelerated stability projects and raw material evaluations in support of Industrial Affairs.
Provides support (sample analysis, documentation preparation, review of pharmacopeia, report writing) of QA functions such as raw material supplier verification and compliance projects (Elemental Impurities)
Provides technical support and problem solving across departments such as Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Operations, and CHC R&D for projects and investigations.
Training of methods and techniques for other analysts in their department and in other company labs
Other laboratories duties as required (such as standardization of standards).
Must have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Chemistry or a closely related field
Must have a minimum of 4 years of analytical laboratory experience
Experience performing analyses on HPLC and/or GC.
Wet chemistry experience is required.
Experience performing analyses on IC, ICP, AA, and UV is preferred.
Working knowledge of GMP requirements is preferred.
Experience operating either ICP-MS or HPLC-MS is a plus but not required.
