Sanofi Group Senior Manager Forecasting, Globally Oncology in Cambridge, Massachusetts

  • The Senior Manager of Forecasting will play a key role leading and communicating across the organization forecasting activities for selected assets of the Oncology portfolio. A key component to this role will be integrating and determining the short- and long-range trajectories for selected Brands and providing insights to guide the Brands strategy.

  • The Senior Manager of Forecasting will review existing forecast models and upgrade them as needed.

  • The Senior Manager is responsible to stay informed of best practices and provide innovative, impactful ideas to support the Brands growth.

  • The Senior Manager of Forecasting will liaise with key stakeholders in marketing, finance, market research, market access, and key affiliates to ensure cross-functional alignment on forecasting assumptions, inputs, and outputs.

  • The Senior Manager of Forecasting will be an integral partner to the Global Oncology commercial team.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Lead Brand forecasting activities and bring key business insights to leaders within the commercial organization.

  • Maintain forecasting tools and models up to date and provide inputs to improve them.

  • Access and analyze specialized databases to fuel forecasting assumptions.

  • Coordinate with Market Research to generate required data for accurate forecasting.

  • Conduct thorough research and analysis of variances to ensure data accuracy.

  • Collaborate with brand teams and finance to assess opportunities and threats. Develop forecasting scenarios based on those.

  • Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Market Research, and Regional Leadership to ensure information and insights are being cascaded throughout the commercial organizations and supporting functions.

  • Collaborate with Supply Chain to help ensure appropriate supply is available at all time.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, advanced degree preferred.

  • 5+ years of pharmaceutical or consulting experience.

  • 2-3 years of Pharmaceutical Forecasting experience.

  • Experience in the field of Oncology preferred.

  • Advanced Excel skills

  • Demonstrate comfort with various types of datasets (IQVIA, IPSOS, Kantar, Claims, …).

  • Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills.

  • Demonstrate ability to work in a matrixed environment with many cross-functional partners.

  • Ability to interact and communicate with all levels in the organization

  • Promotes a good working relationship with supervisors, co-workers, and staff.

  • Proactive in nature, actively participates and self-motivated.
