Senior Director, HCP Marketing, Respiratory

Position Overview/Key Responsibilities:

Position Summary:

The Sr. Director, HCP Marketing, Respiratory will lead execution of the US strategic business direction for Respiratory HCP Promotion. Demonstrated strategic agility with launching biologics and strong professional marketing experience is required. Responsibilities include strategic planning, development, and implementation of creative campaigns for future indications to ensure a launch positioning that is differentiated from the competition. In addition, this role will lead launch planning to ensure flawless coordination of launch activities across the organization.This role is also responsible in leading a team of multiple direct reports responsible for delivering HCP marketing materials for asthma, nasal polyps.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Lead the US Respiratory HCP marketing efforts for both inline and future indications

  • Competencies and expectations associated with this role include but are not limited to the following:

  • Continuous assessment and validation of brand differentiation and reasons to believe

  • Brand positioning and message development

  • Unbranded and professional campaign lead

  • HCP Digital MCM strategy development and tactical execution

  • Development of HCP in-office support strategy and materials

  • Customer segmentation and implementation strategies.

  • Brand lead for the Joint Regulatory Committee (JRC); oversee all JRC meetings and coordinate OPDP submission of launch materials.

  • Manage advertising agency partner and other vendors to ensure execution towards objectives.

  • Lead launch planning: development of Sr. Leadership launch updates, coordinate launch meeting activities, development of sales force tactics, development of field sales business planning templates, and co-develop sales training material.

  • Support the development and management of the Dupixent Respiratory marketing budget.

  • Work effectively within the established corporate and industry compliance guidelines.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree

  • 5-10+ years product/brand management experience, and/or strategic marketing, commercial / business development

  • Product launch experience in pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or Master’s Degree.

  • A comprehensive understanding of the dynamics driving the US health care environment.

  • Ability to quickly understand and communicate all clinical data / publications to support business objectives.

  • Biologic product launch experience and a deep understanding of the respiratory market.

  • Understanding of market research, creative development and experience with regulatory review/approval process.

  • Ability to interact widely and effectively within the company and with co-promote partner (i.e., on an interdepartmental and interdisciplinary basis).

  • Demonstrated ability to understand and anticipate customer needs (internal and/or external).

  • Strong project management skills.

  • Proven ability to cooperate transversally.

  • Exceptional communication skills.

  • Experience managing an advertising agency and related budgets.

  • Demonstrated analytical skills.

  • Passionate and confident in team environment.

  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

  • Experience in international marketing (non-U.S.) within a complex, global commercial pharmaceutical or biotechnology organization.

  • Analytic and synthetic capacity with the ability to understand, simplify and communicate effectively with others.

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional groups which may include Marketing, Global Marketing, Sales, Research & Development, Medical Affairs, Business Development, Market Research, Life Cycle Management and Finance.
