Sanofi Group Product Manager, Thymoglobulin in Cambridge, Massachusetts
The Thymoglobulin Product Manager will be responsible to develop and execute innovative marketing and educational tactics to support continued market leadership of Thymoglobulin in kidney solid organ transplant. This position is within the Sanofi Genzyme Business Unit and Oncology and Transplant Therapy Area and is based in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Key Responsibilities in include, but are not limited to:
Demonstrate knowledge of the solid organ transplant therapy area and market trends.
Cultivate strong relationships with customers in developing deep market insights and brand tactics across various customer segments.
Understand customer segmentation and execute on brand strategies.
Develop and execute impactful promotional and educational programs and tools and achieve pre-defined ROI metrics and performance goals.
Attend promotional review committee meetings to represent new and existing resources, and effectively manage annual renewals / expirations
Complete market analyses and competitive benchmarking to inform marketing programs and tactics.
Partner closely with and support sales teams and provide tools and resources required to meet objectives.
Work in cross-functional team to develop, coordinate, and execute field training and Plan of Action (POA) meetings.
Manage key congress planning.
Contribute to development of annual brand plan.
Manage budgets to meet agreed spending targets.
Manage vendors to ensure execution towards objectives.
Ensure that all marketing processes, documents and tactics are developed and implemented in accordance with Sanofi Genzyme corporate compliance guidelines.
Participate in financial forecasting processes.
Foster strong partnerships with Medical Affairs, Clinical, HEOR, Market Access, Market Research, Regulatory, Legal, and other functions in developing the HCP strategy, to ensure aligned objectives and implementation across all functions.
Willing to travel 30% of the time.
Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years product/brand management experience
Specialty pharmaceutical experience
MBA or master’s degree
Solid organ transplant experience
Pharmaceutical launch experience
Ability to quickly understand and communicate all clinical data / publications to support business objectives
Strong communication skills and track record of effective presentations
Strong track record of project and process management skills, along with the ability to work on multiple tasks, and to effectively prioritize
Strong interpersonal, oral and written skills and the ability to interact professionally representing Sanofi Genzyme
Demonstrated ability to understand and anticipate customer needs (internal and/or external)
Demonstrated knowledge of the pharmaceutical/biotechnology regulatory environment and has proven track record of managing tactical design, messaging and execution
Well-versed in core marketing principles and able to conceptualize and articulate a vision for the brand that energizes all functional areas and stakeholders.
Sales experience in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry
