The Sanofi Medical Technology (MedTech) team has recruited top talent in the field of digital health and software medical device development to help transform care through Drug+ experiences for diabetes and other therapeutic areas. Our team has released an EU and FDA certified class II medical device insulin titration application - My Dose Coach globally and we continue to expand our software applications to drive outcomes and support users across the globe.


We are seeking a Senior User Experience Designer who collaborates with the product development, usability engineering and risk management team to invent and deliver UX framework and features that align and extend One Sanofi Experience and Design across our user base. We are looking for someone who has a passion for customers, strong communication skills, and the ability to focus on big experience initiatives at the same time as crucial details. One who is comfortable presenting and articulating design reasoning with data to directors and stakeholder teams and collaborate with research, product and engineering partners and working through implementation details with tech teams.


  • Own the end-to-end user experience design across all MedTech web and mobile applications, with healthcare providers and consumers as the primary audience.

  • Fluency and experience in the design thinking process

  • Experience with research and human-centered design with a portfolio or samples of work demonstrating experience solving complex challenges with simple user centered design solutions.

  • Own the early-stage user experience design process, including low- and high-fidelity prototypes

  • Collaborate with the MedTech scrum team (principally the product owner, system engineer, risk manager and human factors engineer, as well as test & quality engineers) to define user interface specifications

  • Participate in release planning, story grooming, and story definition of done as part of Sanofi’s medical agile process.

  • Support the human factors team in formative and summative studies. Drive other ad-hoc internal testing activities.

  • Present and communicate design requirements to project teams and business stakeholders

  • Collaborate with front-end developers and software engineers to ensure user-facing experiences meet standards outlined in internal design language


  • Complying with policies and processes and ensure they are communicated, understood, implemented, and maintained at all levels of the organization.

  • Demonstrating excellent partnership and collaboration with other functions within the company to support common initiatives on medical devices.

  • Demonstrating knowledge, skill and ability to model the Sanofi values and positively.

  • Communicates the company visions, values, priorities and targets.


  • Minimum BA/BS degree in Graphic Design, Visual Design or comparable degree program.

  • 8-10 years of user experience design experience, particularly for mobile and web applications, with a solid portfolio displaying your design problem solving and deliverables.

  • 3-5 years' experience in a software medical device or other regulated healthcare environment.

  • Strong working knowledge of modern design tools (e.g., Sketch, Zeplin, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, prototyping tools like Invision).


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Demonstrated initiative and analytical thinking style, able to comprehend complex problems and good problem-solving skills.

  • Self-motivated, innovative, and proactive. An individual who enjoys both the team environment as well as making an individual impact.

  • Demonstrated holistic and systems thinking approach to problem solving.

  • Strong attention to detail, especially in crafting the ideas, education across different functional teams and following through with successful execution.

  • Demonstrated understanding of the desired customer experience and business outcomes of their design as well as actual impact tracking.
