Sanofi Group Manager, US Monitoring, Ethics & Business Integrity in Cambridge, Massachusetts



This role is responsible for performing compliance monitoring activities within the US Monitoring Team for Sanofi. This position works with all levels of the North America Ethics & Business Integrity Department and cross-functionally to ensure that appropriate compliance monitoring controls are maintained and deviations are appropriately remediated. This role exercises independent judgment in assessing compliance-related matters and otherwise supporting the business as needed.

The primary responsibilities include the following:

  • Directly perform and otherwise assist with compliance monitoring within Sanofi Genzyme and/or other business entities or functions as appropriate

  • Ongoing assessment of monitoring controls, data analytics and reporting

  • Manage and maintain monitoring program record keeping and documentation

  • Assist with CIA certification process for certifiers and sub-certifiers

  • Assist with and support activities as necessary in audits, IRO and other review activities

  • Present at NA Ethics & Business Integrity meetings and other applicable meetings on monitoring controls, outputs, deviations, and remediation

  • Interface with NA Ethics & Business Integrity colleagues with regard to receipt of potential violations and appropriate follow up documentation (i.e., Helpline)

  • Identify recommendations for enhancements to policies, SOPs and operational processes relating to monitoring activities and remediation

  • Demonstrate Sanofi US values and commitment to compliance on a consistent basis

  • Perform other duties as may be assigned from time to time


  • Bachelor’s Degree required

  • 5-8 years relevant experience, with background in Compliance and/or pharmaceutical/healthcare industry preferred

  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills

  • Strong project management, analytical and problem solving skills

  • Highest standards of ethics and integrity

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, SharePoint and PowerPoint
