Sanofi Group Manager, Financial Planning Analysis and Reporting in Cambridge, Massachusetts
This Cambridge, MA based position, reporting to the Director of Corporate & US FP&A will provide analysis to support Sanofi Genzyme business strategy and related presentations. This position will work with US as well as other regional finance individuals on actual performance monitoring, budget, forecast analysis, long range planning, and metrics.
This position will entail working in a team environment. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Financial Strategy & Communication
Prepare presentations for internal and corporate audiences that effectively communicate the Global Business Unit (GBU) financial results and strategy.
Lead or perform special projects as required.
Financial Reporting and Analysis:
Interpret and analyze key business financial indicators to identify and communicate trends, issues and use in developing more accurate business forecasts.
Analysis includes financial report preparation and narrative explanation of specific variances in performance against target measures relative to the strategic plans, budgets and forecasts.
Provide key analysis for quarterly earnings release including explanations on Revenue and P&L
Prepare budget guidance and templates
Performance Metric Analysis
Gather data, calculate metrics and generate reports for senior management.

A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or a related field is required. MBA is preferred.
A minimum of 5 years of professional experience managing finance activities in a rapidly growing environment with an emphasis on financial analysis, forecasting, and/or planning is required.
Strong working experience with MS Excel and PowerPoint is required. Previous Excel modeling or programming skills is preferred.
Professional experience with HFM/Essbase; TM1, and QlikView is preferred.
Position may require up to 5% overall travel.
