Sanofi Group Lead, Dupixent Patient Support Services Portfolio Operations in Cambridge, Massachusetts

The Sanofi Genzyme Patient Support Services (PSS) team is focused on supporting patients wishing to access to Sanofi Genzyme therapies. This is achieved by offering programs that provide reimbursement and logistics support, financial assistance, and patient education. In addition to the program offerings, the PSS organization is also home to field teams that provide education and support to patients and customers.

The Lead, Dupxient Portfolio Operations will work closely with the marketing, sales, value & access, and commercial transformation teams to identify and manage projects focused on improving patient access to Dupixent. The candidate must be solution-oriented, operationally savvy, creative, highly organized, flexible, and adept at handling multiple projects with tight deadlines and multiple stakeholders. This will be a highly visible position interacting with many internal functional groups within Sanofi Genzyme, and external vendors. The position will report to the Head, Dupixent Patient Support Services and is based in Cambridge, MA.

Responsibilities:

A summary of responsibilities is outlined below, however the ability to flex and prioritize in response to changing business needs is of the utmost importance.

  • As a member of the Dupixent Patient Services Leadership team, works to define strategy and tactics to achieve BU objectives.

  • Provide operational and project management support to Head Patient Support Services Dupixent

  • Leads the development and execution of cross-functional initiatives agreed on by the Head Patient Support Services Dupixent in support of key business, brand, and function priorities

  • Prepare or ensure preparation of presentations and documents requested by the Head Patient Support Services Dupixent for internal and external meetings and events

  • Tracks execution of strategic priorities on behalf of the Head Patient Support Services Dupixent; supports the operating effectiveness of the US PSS LT

  • Oversee the strategic business planning and budget process for the Dupixent Patient Services Budget / F1 / F2, LRP, Strategic plan

  • Acts as the communication lead by coordinating, preparing, and delivering communications to the Dupixent PSS organization, and other teams/functions as needed

  • Represents Dupixent Patient Services across businesses and functions within Sanofi Genzyme to identify and share best practices

  • Represent the Head of Patient Services Dupixent in meetings, events or any instances necessary, and speak on behalf of the Head of Patient Services Dupixent

  • Provide operational and project management support to the Head of Patient Services Dupixent

  • Leads change management efforts as needed to deliver key Dupixent Patient Services business objectives and goals

  • Develops, implements, and maintains project management processes, procedures, systems, and tools which support project planning and implementation: scheduling, resource planning and budget

  • Facilitates the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables, based on project charters defined by senior management; defines project tasks and resource requirements

  • Tracks and ensures delivery of project outcomes

  • Monitors and reports on progress of the project to all stakeholders

  • Prepares updates for key management teams

  • Coordinate and lead weekly leadership team meetings in conjunction with Head of Patient Services Dupixent

  • Serve as lead for all compliance related deliverables on behalf of the BU. Work with brand leads and sales leadership to ensure teams are aware of Sanofi Genzyme compliance procedures, changes, and follow-up.

  • Assist in the management of the “new hire” process for members of the PSS home office team

  • Act as a culture role model by demonstrating inclusive and supportive leadership qualities

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 6+ years relevant commercial experience in the healthcare industry and/or consulting

  • Strong leadership/management and analytical skills, ability to delivery on project objectives in a timely manner required

  • Proven ability to lead and influence teams without direct authority

  • Excellent writing, excel, power point and organizational skills required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PSS or other commercial specialty experience

  • Highly self-directed; Must be able to proactively and independently work issues and manage projects with minimal direction

  • Proven ability to communicate and present effectively to senior leaders, cross-functional and cross-organizational teams in a matrix environment

  • Previous experience in bio-pharmaceutical commercial role

Candidates must complete all fleet safety training and must maintain an acceptable driving record regarding accidents and incidents.
