Sanofi Group Joint Health Contracting Manager in Cambridge, Massachusetts


This Bridgewater/Cambridge based Joint Health Contracting Manager will be responsible for working with internal stakeholders and external customers in alignment with brand vision, values, and goals, as well as Sanofi’s contracting strategy. The Joint Health Contracting Manager will represent Sanofi Joint Health as a leader in the healthcare industry through compliant and professional assistance to the contracting process.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Process information submitted via the field sales rep to determine customer eligibility for direct or indirect contracting(including GPO and wholesaler agreements)

  • Support customer communication with the steps of the contracting process from initiation through review periods

  • Initiate and maintain contacts in relevant Sanofi systems

  • Work with internal stakeholder to execute contracts through the Sanofi system

  • Work with the field sales force to obtain needed customer documentation and authorizations

  • Support customer communication during quarterly check-in with PA accounts to discuss possible promotion or demotion of tier and corresponding price change that will occur at review periods

  • Work with internal data reporting stakeholders to ensure the accurate representation of active agreements in reporting tools

  • Increase effective working relationship with internal stakeholders and engage in process improvement initiatives

  • Support analytic reporting to senior leadership and field sales team

  • Support the development and analysis of Sanofi contracting strategy

  • This role is not field based however in addition to working with internal stakeholder this role will include working directly with customers. Basic Qualifications and Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree

  • 2 years contracting/customer service experience. Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of strong customer service/support

  • Work independently and within guidelines to accomplish brand priorities

  • Internal contracting management experience

  • Understanding of the visco supplement market and/or exposure to buy and bill contracting

  • Experience with GPO/Wholesaler contracting

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skill set
