Summary

  • The Sanofi Genzyme ITS Business Partner organization is charged with collaborating across the business to develop effective ITS strategies based on a common understanding of priorities, challenges and opportunities. Our goal is to provide business capabilities and innovative technology solutions that enable the business to meet its objectives. The ideal candidate will have strong consulting skills, a good understanding of business processes, information systems, and a history of assisting business partners meet their objectives. The candidate will partner with Sanofi Genzyme’s commercial business units (i.e. Rare Diseases) to understand business priorities and collaborate across Sanofi’s Global ITS organization to ensure alignment with ITS priorities.

SANOFI GENZYME ITS BUSINESS PARTNER ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proactively engage various leadership councils ( US & Global ) representing the Sanofi Genzyme ITS Function:

  • Translating the Rare Diseases Global and North America franchises Patient, HCP and Payer needs into a robust roadmap of business capabilities

  • Ensuring that the business requirements of the Rare Diseases franchise are represented in global programs developed, deployed and operationally supported by Sanofi ITS Global Solution Centers.

  • Collaborating transversely across Sanofi's ITS Business Partner community to share ideas, common solutions and best practices thereby harmonizing solutions and developing repeatable best practices

  • Staying up to date with industry trends and best practices ensuring that key stakeholders view ITS as a trusted and knowledgeable advisor.

  • Lead, develop and influence indirect reports and other ITS resources through a matrixed environment in which some required resources do not have a direct reporting relationship

BUSINESS ITS STRATEGY:

  • Define, regularly adapt and communicate the long-term Business ITS strategy and plans, consistent with the ITS Function’s strategy and successfully supporting the strategies of the business

  • Propose innovative and cost-efficient ITS solutions to maximize business value, create competitive advantage, and constantly improve operational excellence

  • Lead the roll-out in Business of the ITS strategy related to projects, organizations or systems and anticipate future Business challenges

  • Communicate the long-term Business vision, strategy and plans within Unit ITS organization

  • Elaborate and maintain the Business ITS portfolio

PORTFOLIO EXECUTION AND OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE

  • Develop Business Cases to prioritize projects and make appropriate strategic decisions

  • Ensure dialogue across activities to build integrated and end-to-end solutions

  • Is responsible for the budget of programs & projects

  • Identify emerging business needs and support the creation of new ITS service lines, including long term funding of these new activities

  • Is co-accountable with business of executing business value and cooperation with other functions to drive successful projects

  • Monitor and communicate on the programs / projects portfolio progression

  • Contribute to full compliance (laws, regulations, company policies including security policy)

Key Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to understand business strategies and translate into actionable ITS priorities

  • Ability to guide, facilitate and empathize with business counterparts on ITS and business priorities

  • Agility and flexibility to successfully manage multiple simultaneous initiatives

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate (written, oral, presentation) across all levels the organization

  • Documentation and organizational skills

  • Intermediate to advanced Project and Program management skills

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 8+ years relevant experience in the healthcare industry and/or consulting

  • Strong leadership/management and analytical skills, ability to delivery on project objectives in a timely manner required

  • Proven ability to lead and influence teams without direct authority

  • Excellent writing, excel, power point and organizational skills required

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or relevant master’s degree

  • MS or other specialty experience

  • Highly self-directed; Must be able to proactively and independently work issues and manage projects with minimal direction

  • Proven ability to communicate and present effectively to senior leaders, cross-functional and cross-organizational teams in a matrix environment

  • Previous experience in biopharmaceutical IT focusing on solutions to meet marketing, patient services, or sales needs.
