Sanofi Group Finance Mgr, US MSOI Sales & GTN, Cambridge, MA in Cambridge, Massachusetts

Missions and objectives:

  • Manage the monthly, quarterly and yearly sales close processing including assessing need for and creating monthly entries impacting gross to net sales lines and reconcile all gross to net sales general ledger accounts

  • Oversee the daily reporting of net sales by product and report daily gross sales of Immunology products to Alliance Partner

  • Manage daily sales unit forecast for all MS, Oncology and Immunology products aligning with Finance Leads, Forecasting and Data Analytics prior to inclusion on daily sale reporting

  • Perform quarterly gross to net rebate reserve analysis assessing whether accruals are properly stated and determining risk associated with reserve position

  • Present quarterly gross to net reserve analysis to US MSOI Finance Leaders and NA CFO proposing potential adjustments and identified risks

  • Manage the gross to net rebate account model forecasting process partnering with Finance, Business, Value & Access, Market Access and Contract and Analytics Teams during forecast and budget cycles

  • Manage the gross to net government channel rebate process partnering with Government Pricing, Contract Analytics, Business, Value & Access and Finance Leads on analyzing past performance and forecasting future share of business and discounts through the government channels

  • Manage the analysis of current performance and future forecast of patient support programs such as free drug and copay liaising with 3rd party vendor, PSP, Data Analytics, Finance Leads, and Value & Access Teams

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand the changing market dynamics that need to be factored into forecasts and reserves across all channels

  • Develop and distribute monthly gross to net rebate reporting focused on analyzing channel mix and impacts of contracting changes

  • Manage the actual performance and forecast of the cost of goods sold across MSOI including standard costs, intercompany margin, indigent and bridge program utilization and distribution

  • Oversee the forecasting and actual analysis of the Pharmaceutical Industry Excise Fee across MSOI

  • Support the sales forecasting and budget process including cash flow, sales analytics and commentary as needed

  • Manage the update of sales forecasts and budgets in all financial tools ensuring accuracy

  • Create and distribute consolidated monthly US MSOI performance reporting including sales variance analysis, P&Ls, OpEx by department and HC

  • Support the US MSOI Head of Value & Access and the Head of Market Research with consolidated reporting on OpEx for their respective areas including consolidated forecasts, budgets and monthly actual vs budget, latest forecast and prior year

  • Analyze, interpret and summarize financial and other supporting data for adhoc requests

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years business finance experience, with emphasis on financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting and month end close

  • Industry related experience preferably with a focus sales, gross to net and cost of goods sold

  • BS in Accounting/Finance required; CPA or MBA a plus

  • Strong accounting skills; Internal Controls

  • Knowledge of Hyperion, TM1 Cognos, SAP and Essbase preferred

  • Strong working knowledge of Excel and Power-Point required

  • The ability to work in a fast paced environment and within complex organization
