Director, US HCP Marketing, ADPKD –Rare Diseases

The Director, US HCP Marketing, ADPKD/Renal will lead the development and execution of a comprehensive HCP strategy and tactical plan for the launch of a priority pipeline product in ADPKD (autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease), which is one of the most common, life-threatening genetic diseases.

Key management responsibilities include developing unbranded and branded HCP campaigns and tactics that will prepare the market to ensure best-in-class launch of a new therapy for ADPKD in the US, while securing future growth. Subsequently, this individual will be responsible for implementing these programs to positively impact HCPs, and other key stakeholders.

As a priority asset within Sanofi, this role will offer individuals opportunities for broad company exposure and exciting career development within a growing team. This role will be based in Cambridge and will report into the Sr Director ADPKD Marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of the US HCP Engagement plan for a new product indicated in ADPKD

  • Develop and execute impactful unbranded and branded campaigns.

  • Develop customer segmentation and targeting strategies.

  • Develop an innovative digital strategy and lead tactical execution to achieve pre-defined ROI metrics and performance goals.

  • Ensure appropriate market analysis and competitive benchmarking is conducted to inform marketing programs and tactics.

  • Foster strong partnerships with cross-functional team in Global Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, Clinical, Value & Access, Market Research, Regulatory, Legal, and other functions, to ensure aligned objectives and implementation across all functions.

  • Manage field sales communications and CRM tools development.

  • Manage annual HCP budgets, ensuring strategic allocation of funds and monthly tracking to meet agreed spending targets.

  • Manage advertising agency partner and other vendors to ensure execution towards objectives.

  • Manage promotional material internal review submission process.

  • Ensure that all marketing processes, documents, and tactics are developed and implemented in accordance with Sanofi Genzyme corporate compliance guidelines.

  • Willing to travel 30% of the time.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven Renal market experience and a deep understanding of the US renal landscape

  • Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of commercial experience in the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industries.

  • 3 years of HCP marketing experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or other graduate level degree preferred

  • Launch Experience

  • Sales Experience
