The Director, Global HCP Marketing will report directly to the Global Marketing Lead for Gastroenterology and will be responsible for leading the development and execution of global brand HCP strategy, content plan and multi-channel engagement to drive differentiation and increase brand preference among HCPs. This position will interface with international thought leaders, Sanofi-Genzyme leadership, Regeneron alliance partners, Field Medical Leadership, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, Product Communications and lead advertising agency efforts.

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end HCP strategy development for DUPIXENT in Eosinophilic Esophagitis (EoE), including internal/external insights gathering and consolidation, understanding of key growth drivers of HCP brand preference, strategy development and cross-functional alignment.

  • Drive differentiated HCP content creation, evidence-based messaging and toolkits through strong cross-functional alignment and collaboration with key stakeholders (Medical, Regulatory, Legal, etc.)

  • Develop and implement multichannel approaches to amplify the DUPIXENT experience including digital strategy

  • Lead Global/Affiliate co-creation and ensure local understanding/implementation of aligned HCP strategy.

  • Create a framework to share learnings and best practices across markets to raise overall market performance levels.

  • Lead the development & execution of commercial booth and branded advertising during international congresses

  • Support commercial advisory board planning and execution

  • Partner effectively with Market Development and Customer Engagement colleagues to support local pull-through of HCP Education and training activities, as appropriate

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the disease state(s), the competitive landscape and the overall market

  • Communicate closely with agency partners, Marketing team and manage brand team interactions with the Review Committee for implementation of tactics.

  • Effectively create, manage, track, and evaluate budget to ensure we deliver to execute tactics and commitments to the brand and organization.

  • Ensure alignment with the alliance partner

Experience Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required

  • 8+ years of relevant pharmaceutical/biotech industry experience in sales and marketing

  • Experience and proven ability to build / execute marketing strategies

  • Understanding of market research, creative development and experience with regulatory review/approval process.

  • Experience quickly understanding and communicating clinical data / publications to support business objectives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (e.g. Master of Science, MBA, MD, PhD, PharmD)

  • Experience working in Immunology therapeutic areas such as Rheumatology, Dermatology, Gastroenterology, Allergy, or Respiratory

  • Direct US sales and/or marketing experience

  • Experience in international marketing (non-U.S.)

  • Demonstrated ability to understand and anticipate customer needs (internal and/or external)

  • Experience managing an advertising agency and related budgets

  • Experience working in an alliance
