Our aspiration is to accelerate our Customer Engagements efforts by providing the most relevant, trustworthy and simple process to generate, adapt and validate content. Achieving this is a critical part of Sanofi’s overall digital strategy.

Role Description:

In our current digital environment, our customers want to consume increased amounts of content across channels of their choice with content relevant to them. As we transform this end-to-end content journey, the Content Validation Operations Lead will manage global operations related to the validation/review of this content.

He/She will lead the content validation workstream to reduce process complexity at global and local levels and to ensure harmonization and simplification across GBUs and geographies. Specifically, this role will optimize processes to ensure we are able to (1) Manage a larger volume of digital content, and (2) Reduce review time and increase speed to market while ensuring the distribution of impactful and compliant content. This end-to-end content flow is critical to realize our ambitions to deliver hyper-personalized modular content to customers. Overall, he/she will manage the process of launch, management and transformation of the full approval chain, including our validation tool.

Additionally, as we set our sights on achieving modular content, he/she must have a solid understanding of modular content creation as the validation of this content must be synergistic with the modular design.


The Content Validation Operations Lead is responsible to:

  • Lead the overall management and transformation of the full E2E content validation chain, including our ambitions to lead modular design of content

  • Lead, manage and transform the overall adpromo and PromoMats processes; be the single point of contact in the overall transformation of the content approval process globally

  • Be the business point person for the Digital Asset Management system

  • Help to lead our content modularization journey

  • Revise and ensure optimized process flows to enable overall content validation and production success

  • Create End to End Content standard operating procedures (based on existing procedures)

  • Lead all End to End process training and change management activities. Review existing trainings and toolkits to improve content and format (interactive, visual, etc.)

  • Implement and lead content validation governance including the “Content Validation workstream” (involving stakeholders from all GBUs, BOS, Regulatory, etc.)

  • With support from our Data & Analytics BOS lead, develop content validation measurement plans to deliver regular reporting/insights. Establish and monitor KPIs to drive content validation efficiency, reduce lead times and increase customer satisfaction (including Right First Time, etc.)

  • Perform benchmarking to continuously improve the content validation process and activities across countries and GBUs

  • Work with the Digital Team to ensure technical integrations to optimize content validation flows (e.g., OneCRM, DAM, etc.)

  • Drive continued innovation to drive automation of workflows, validation, tagging including use of AI, etc.

  • Supervise the Core Claims Workstream

  • Generate foresight in content clearance processes leveraging data opportunities

  • Strong operational experience with the Veeva PromoMats tool and the generation and review of content in the regulated biopharma setting

  • Strong experience with Content Modularization and DAM capabilities

  • Experience in digital marketing, digital asset management and Omnichannel automation opportunities

  • Organized with good project and process skills to achieve targets. Able to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Delivers with precision and accuracy

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Ability to influence and drive change at all levels of the organization; strong presentation and change management experience

  • Outstanding communication and influencing skills

  • Experience in working with Agile methodologies

  • Proven leadership of high-performing cross-functional global teams in matrixed organizations, able to interact with executive-level positions

  • Independent self-starter, strong attention to detail and able to work as a highly collaborative team player
