Sanofi Group Consumer Experience Visual Designer in Cambridge, Massachusetts
POSITION OVERVIEW
Consumer Experience (CX) Visual Designer collaborates with a team of world-class multi-disciplinary designers to invent and deliver UX frameworks and features that align and extend the One Sanofi Experience and Design across all patients, customers and staffs on multi-devices.
You have a passion for customers, strong communication skills, and the ability to focus on big experience initiatives at the same time as crucial details. You are comfortable presenting and articulating design reasoning with data to directors and stakeholder teams and collaborate with research, product and engineering partners and working through implementation details with tech teams.
You must be responsive, flexible, and able to succeed within an open and collaborative peer environment.
Responsibilities
Fluency and experience in the design thinking process
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Experience with research and human-centered design with a portfolio or samples of work demonstrating experience solving complex challenges with simple user-centered design solutions
Experience with consumer brand experience design and understanding of storytelling
Ability to extract complex concepts and quickly turn around rigorous flows and mockups reflecting a range of options
Visual design expertise demonstrated through mockups and style guides
Additional design skills in related fields, including filmmaking, motion design, and prototyping is a plus
Experience in designing cross platform experiences
Ability to drive and close on design requirements independently
Experience working in design consulting where presentation to clients and executives are core proficiencies
Proficiency in presenting design work to user experience teams, product and engineering teams, and executives for review and feedback
Key Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in HCI, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, or equivalent design-related field
2+ years of experience as an interaction designer, user experience designer, or similar role
A portfolio demonstrating experience creating great user-centered design solutions and GUI design expertise.
Experience with a variety of design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, Photoshop, Axure, Framer, Invision, etc.
Preferred Key Qualifications:
Familiarity with pharma/health technology is a plus.
Experience designing large scale, high profile customer experiences
Familiarity with A/B, multivariate and other quantitative testing techniques
Successful track record working with stakeholders as a design leader
Experience creating production specs/assets, working directly with developers for implementation of designs
Experience driving mobile first design initiatives
Demonstrated understanding of end-to-end customer journeys
Demonstrated understanding of the desired customer experience and business outcomes of their design as well as actual impact tracking
Able to work in a diverse team
Experience leading quality assurance activities (design reviews, QA, heuristic evaluations etc.)
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present a rationale for design decisions to senior leadership
Familiarity with front end development (HTML, CSS, Javascript and etc.)
Demonstrated holistic and systems thinking approach to problem solving
Strong attention to detail, especially in crafting the ideas, education across different functional teams and following through with successful execution.
