Elitek Brand Lead
The Brand Lead of U.S. ELITEK Marketing will develop and execute innovative marketing and educational strategies and tactics that will differentiate ELITEK and create a best-in-class experience for all stakeholders. Strong healthcare professional marketing experience is required. This position is based in Cambridge, Massachusetts and level will be commensurate with the experience of identified candidate.
Lead development and manage the execution of the US brand strategy and execution, including but not limited to multi-channel engagement.
Foster strong partnerships with Medical Affairs, Clinical, HEOR, Market Access, Market Research, Analytics, Business Operations, Regulatory, Legal, and other functions in co-developing the brand strategy, to ensure aligned objectives and implementation across all functions.
Demonstrate deep knowledge of hyperuricemia and TLS, available treatments, and market trends; cultivate strong relationships with customers in developing deep market insights, and customize brand strategy across various customer segments.
Ensure appropriate market analysis and competitive benchmarking is conducted to inform marketing programs and tactics.
Directly manage 1 direct report and build a high performing team, including coaching and motivating members
Manage the evolution and innovation of the ELITEK HCP marketing campaigns, digital strategy, and tactical plans, and achieve pre-defined ROI metrics and performance goals.
In collaboration with Market Research, Analytics and business intelligence, track, monitor, and report on key performance indicators monthly. Execute monthly business reviews with cross-functional partners to ensure objectives are being met.
Work closely with commercial training to ensure a sound strategic approach to ELITEK training and materials.
Manage annual budget ensuring strategic allocation of funds and monthly tracking to meet agreed spending targets.
Manage agency partner and other vendors to ensure execution towards objectives.
Ensure that all marketing processes, documents and tactics are developed and implemented in accordance with Sanofi Genzyme corporate compliance guidelines.
Manage long-range planning and all associated financial forecasting requirements.
Travel approximately 30%.Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree (MBA) preferred.
10+ years product/brand management experience, and/or strategic marketing, commercial / business development, with 6+ years in the pharmaceutical / biotechnology industry.
Direct line management experience.Preferred Qualifications:
Oncology market experience.
Experience working with Oncology GPO’s and buy-and-bill contracting strategy.
Strong HCP marketing background.
History of successful investment management.
Demonstrated ability to participate and work effectively on matrix teams in a collaborative and professional manner.
Demonstrated ability to use appropriate interpersonal styles and techniques and ability to modify behavior to gain acceptance of ideas or plans.
Demonstrated knowledge of the pharmaceutical/biotechnology regulatory environment and has proven track record of managing tactical design, messaging and execution.
Well-versed in core marketing principles and able to conceptualize and articulate a vision for the brand that energizes all functional areas and stakeholders.
Ability to quickly understand and communicate all clinical data / publications to support business objectives.
Strong communication skills and track record of effective and influential presentations, delivering complex messages to external and internal customers, including Senior Leadership.
Strong track record of project and process management skills, along with the ability to work on multiple tasks, and to effectively prioritize.
Strong interpersonal, oral and written skills and the ability to interact professionally representing Sanofi Genzyme.
Demonstrated ability to understand and anticipate customer needs (internal and/or external).
