Associate Director, SARCLISA (isatuximab) HCP Marketing
The SARCLISA HCP Marketing (isatuximab-irfc) Associate Director (AD) will be responsible for contributing to the development and execution of the overall brand strategy and leading key aspects of the strategy and execution for product marketing to HCPs. This position has high visibility and will support additional launch indications within multiple myeloma. The position requires a highly motivated individual that is able to work independently, think strategically and collaborate transversally in order to accomplish complex deliverables.
Key Responsibilities in include, but are not limited to:
Develop and execute impactful HCP programs and tools and achieve pre-defined ROI metrics and performance goals
Lead development and execution of the brand’s Advanced Practice Provider marketing strategy and work cross-functionally to develop, coordinate initiatives and related activities
Collaborate with GPO team to develop strategic marketing plan for this key customer segment and facilitate pull through of key executional elements of the plan
Key point of contact with sales organization to partner with and support sales teams to provide tools/resources required to meet objectives
Collaborate with agency partners in the execution of HCP strategic and tactical plans
Lead ad board(s) to gather insights from HCPs on strategic and tactical plans for the brand to optimize marketing plans.
Manage annual budget for projects ensuring strategic allocation of funds and monthly tracking to meet agreed spending targets.
Ensure that all marketing processes, documents and tactics are developed and implemented in accordance with Sanofi Genzyme corporate compliance guidelines
Cultivate strong relationships with customers in developing deep market insights and brand tactics across various customer segments
Complete analyses and competitive benchmarking to inform marketing programs and tactics
In addition, the AD will be responsible for closely partnering with the Medical Affairs, Market Access, Market Research, Sales Training, Regulatory, Legal, and other functions in developing the HCP strategy, to ensure aligned objectives and implementation across all functions in support of the SARCLISA brand.
The ideal candidate will have had prior pharmaceutical/biotech marketing including working on large-scale, complex projects, supporting and collaborating with various stakeholders. The AD will report to the Director, SARCLISA HCP Marketing and will be based in Cambridge, MA (position will be remote until COVID environment improves).
Experience and Required Skills
BA/BS degree required.
6-8+ years US pharmaceutical/biotech focused product/brand management experience
Knowledge expertise in the field of Oncology preferred
Launch experience preferred
Experience in key principles of brand management, professional promotion, sales, and marketing
Proven ability to work in matrix organizations and with cross-functional partners
Excellent analytical skills, well organized, and detail oriented
Ability to think strategically and work independently; strong presentation skills
Demonstrated ability to manage several large complex projects simultaneously
Excellent interpersonal skills, negotiation, and leadership skills
Demonstrated ability to understand and anticipate customer needs (internal and/or external)
Understanding of the pharmaceutical/biotechnology regulatory environment and has proven track record of managing tactical design, messaging and execution
Well-versed in core marketing principles and able to conceptualize and articulate a vision for the brand that energizes all functional areas and stakeholders
Comfortable working in a fast pace and high expectation organization where the focus is on both what you do, and how you accomplish your goals and objectives
