Sanofi Group Associate Director, Respiratory, Value and Access, Dupixent – US in Cambridge, Massachusetts

Job Description:

The Associate Director, Value and Access, Dupixent will be a key leader and contributor to Sanofi’s growing flagship brand Dupixent. This position will be responsible for developing Dupixent US market access strategy and tactics that pertain to the Respiratory therapeutic area. While embedded in Sanofi Genzyme Market Access, this position will maintain a high level of collaboration and integration with the Dupixent brand team, US Market Access Shared Services, Market Research, Regulatory, Medical, HEOR, Legal, Training and other departments as necessary. This role will have responsibility for developing resources for US Account Management Teams and for field pull-through. In addition, this role will manage performance of Respiratory indications in payer channels, including tracking and improving targeted account performance, key account prioritization, and development of marketing strategies and tactics that will optimize business. This role will also ensure integration of payer insights across the Dupixent franchise and with key stakeholders through close collaboration with both the HCP and Consumer Marketing teams.

This position is be based in Cambridge, MA and reports to Respiratory Team Lead, Value and Access (Dupixent).

Specific Responsibilities Include :

  • Support respiratory strategy development in partnership with TA Value and Access Lead

  • Lead/Support Market Research workstreams, working closely with vendors/agencies to ensure objectives are met and clearly communicated, refining key takeaways for socialization with LT

  • Track and disseminate respiratory competitive insights by aggregating insights from various vendors/agencies and communicating promptly to internal stakeholders such as the account team

  • Develop payer promotional tools and HCP pull-through tools , in partnership with TA Value and Access Leads, including leading (J)RC reviews from end-to-end:

  • Unbranded disease awareness campaigns

  • MOA education materials

  • Value Proposition

  • Breaking news updates

  • Pull-through tools

  • Field education of MAx acumen

  • Elucidate Respiratory market access insights from various data sources (IQVIA etc) in real time and impact on payer management and pull-through, assess market access KPIs to inform recommendations and action items, in partnership with the Payer Analytics and Insights Lead

  • Partner with HEVA business partners to inform real world evidence generation and ensure health economic activities are in place demonstrate Dupixent value and meet payer needs

  • Managing vendors/agencies , including the development of RFPs, review, selection and milestones achievement towards contract deliverables

  • Ensuring compliance with government regulations and company processes

  • Flexibility to take on other responsibilities, as needed by the business over time

Basic Qualifications:

  • BA, BS or equivalent required, MBA or other graduate degree preferred

  • 5-7 years of biopharmaceutical industry experience

  • 3+ years of Market Access experience, such as Payer Marketing, Account Management, Contracting, Training

  • Experience with specialty product sales, marketing or payer marketing

  • Strong project management capabilities including time and events, scenario and contingency planning, and the ability to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of outputs and deliverables

  • Team player with proven ability to align internal stakeholders and achieve results through collaboration

  • Self-initiator with proven ability to manage ambiguity and transitions

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of and experience in marketing

  • Understanding and experience in different access and reimbursement models, including Part B, Part D and Medicaid

  • Experience in developing tools and tactics applicable to US payer markets

  • Experience in Respiratory is a plus

  • Strong sense of professionalism, accountability and urgency for defined areas of responsibility

  • Ability to communicate tactical direction and related concepts clearly, orally and in writing, across internal and external audiences (e.g., sales, marketing, advocacy)

  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently with the medical/legal/regulatory submission and approval process to ensure appropriate review and timely delivery of materials

  • Capacity to engage effectively with agencies in order to translate marketing objectives into actionable and innovative strategies and solutions

  • Reliable and responsible management of budgets and expenses

  • Ability to travel approximately 10-25% post COVID
