Sanofi Group Associate Director, Planning and Forecasting Analytics in Cambridge, Massachusetts

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Implements and manages our specialty care market forecast models in the Cognos TM 1 / IBM Planning Analytics platform

  • Partners with therapy area dedicated forecasters to ensure smooth and seamless integration of our Excel based market forecast models with our TM 1 platform

  • At times takes ownership of market models for specific therapy areas to deliver during forecasting cycles

  • Contributes to best practices and implementation of advanced forecasting methods for our market forecast models

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • MBA or Master’s degree preferred, with a record of strong academic performance and exposure to quantitative methods

  • 5+ years of previous experience in Consulting or planning/forecasting roles, preferably in the healthcare/pharmaceutical industry

  • Experience leading projects independently and/or experience managing teams as part of projects

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in oral and written form

  • Strong decision-making skills and the ability to influence others

  • Analytical problem-solving skills, with an ability to both see the big picture and delve into details

  • Excellent organization and planning skills

  • Experience with Cognos TM 1 / IBM planning analytics

  • Experience with analytical tools/platform (e.g., SQL, R, Python) a plus.
