Sanofi Group Associate Director, Patient Services Marketing, Rare Disease in Cambridge, Massachusetts

Position Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the US Rare Disease Marketing Team with responsibility that spans across all of our Rare Disease brands. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic marketing plan for the CareConnectPSS brand and its associated offerings designed to support the Pompe, Gaucher, Fabry and MPS 1 patients we serve. Additionally, the Associate Director, Patient Services Marketing role will be responsible for the development and execution of unbranded, disease state marketing materials. This person will work in close collaboration with the PSS Team, ensuring alignment across the business and delivering patient-centric marketing materials. The role will report to the General Manager US Rare Disease but needs to work cross-functionally with all of the rare disease brands and the Head of PSS and the PSS leadership team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the creation of an integrated marketing plan and tactics to strengthen the CareConnectPSS brand and its associated services that help all Sanofi Genzyme Rare Disease patients access and adhere to treatment

  • Lead or co-lead development of positioning and specific patient messaging and materials aligned to the CareConnect brand and overall business strategies

  • Lead the development and execution of unbranded disease state marketing plans and materials in collaboration with the brand teams and PSS team.

  • Work closey with PSS team to develop, market and monitor xLSD patient education programs

  • Continuously monitor and assess performance of implemented tactics and impact on the brands and refine strategy and tactics accordingly

  • Ensure execution of marketing activities in compliance with medical, regulatory and legal requirements

  • Manage multiple agency partners to produce deliverables on strategy within timelines and budget

  • Temporarily remote – Travel approximately 20%, primarily domestic when applicable

Qualifications

  • 5+ years Pharmaceutical marketing or communications experience, preferably patient focused

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • Understanding of pharmaceutical marketing and regulatory/compliance environment

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross functional stakeholders such as Patient Services, Patient Advocacy, Regulatory, Medical, Legal, and Market Research

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively implement and communicate core positioning and messaging

  • Strong organizational and operational skills, with attention to detail and sound business judgment

  • Strong critical thinking skills with a solution-oriented mindset

  • Proven project management skills including objective setting, prioritization, planning, timeline and budget management, and pull-though of clear action plans

  • Ability to adapt and thrive within a fast-paced and dynamic environment
