Sanofi Group Associate Director HCP Marketing - US Oncology / Breast Team in Cambridge, Massachusetts

POSITION SUMMARY

The Associate Director, healthcare professional (HCP) Lead, will be responsible for leading key marketing activities for a new novel launch in breast cancer for Sanofi Genzyme. This includes contributing to the development and execution of the overall brand strategy and leading all aspects of the strategy and execution for US Breast Team and product marketing to HCPs. This position has high visibility and will support additional launch indications within breast cancer. The candidate will work regularly in cross-functional environment with Field Sales, Sales Training, Patient Services, Market Access, Medical Affairs, Legal and Regulatory. This role requires a highly motivated individual who can work effectively in a dynamic environment with a high degree of autonomy and creative problem solving skills.

This position reports to the Director of Marketing for the US Breast Team and is part of the Solid Tumor franchise at Sanofi Genzyme.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, creation, and implementation of branded and unbranded promotional materials preparing for best-in-class launch in metastatic breast cancer.

  • Lead large brand level initiatives for HCP channels

  • Collaborate with agency partners in the execution of HCP strategic and tactical plans to achieve business objectives

  • Contribute to the development and execution of the HCP speaker training/programming

  • Collaborate with the Thought Leader Liaison (TLL) Directors and agency partners in the development of content and collateral material for use by the TLL Field Team

  • Lead the development and execution of advisory boards

  • Actively lead market analysis and competitive benchmarking to measure ROI of HCP marketing programs

  • Elevate the team’s understanding of US Breast Team market dynamics and all aspects of HCP insights. Analyze effectiveness of marketing initiatives and recommend optimizations

  • Gain alignment and implement marketing tactics with the sales force. Ensure effective execution

  • Administrative management of projects, including contracts development, PO generation, and tracking and reconciliation of project budget.

  • Willing to travel domestically.

  • Participate in the submission, review, and approval process for key marketing initiatives

  • Collaborate extensively with marketing, sales force, training department, and other functions to ensure we are achieving US Breast Team A revenue, market share, and budget targets

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred

  • 6+ years preferred of pharmaceutical/biotech commercial experience

  • 2+ years preferred of HCP marketing or field sales/training experience

  • Breast or solid tumor disease experience preferred but not required

  • Strong formal presentation development and delivery skills required

  • Demonstrated experience in creating, developing and leading brand initiatives that create change

  • Demonstrated abilities to prioritize and manage multiple projects, and effectively influence, collaborate, and communicate with internal and external partners.

  • Demonstrated cross functional experience included but not limited to: Sales, Global Marketing, In-line Brand/Tactical Marketing, Market Research & Analytics, Market Access, Business Operations

  • Knowledge of the Legal and Regulatory landscape pertaining to pharmaceutical marketing; including Medical/Legal/Regulatory Review Committee process

  • Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and demonstrated financial, communication, and presentation skills

  • Detail-oriented self-starter capable of owning initiatives from beginning to end

  • High level of personal and professional integrity with strong work ethic

  • Sales experience a significant plus

  • Ability to travel 20-30%, typically domestic.
