Sanofi Group Sr Manager, Field Force Automation in Bridgewater, New Jersey

This position is responsible for the project management of the Veeva CRM systems. This position will work closely with Sr Sales/Field management and IS to effectively provide the necessary support to their teams via the CRM systems. Provide strategic and operational support to the sales, marketing, and medical functions in order to identify their CRM needs and decision support requirements. Provide project management support to Field Operations teams.

Manage Veeva for field teams

  • Manage the process of VEEVA system upgrades/enhancements, including:

  • Management of project timelines and budget as per project plan

  • Communicate business and technical requirements to 3rd party vendors and internal IS teams

  • Lead the requirements gathering sessions with business units and other key stakeholders.

  • Lead internal projects with Data Management and Information Systems teams to ensure communication and implementation of requirements to all downstream systems.

  • Review test systems and prototypes to ensure that desired result is achieved by the system.

  • Transition requirements to Operations training manager and communications contact for final deployment.

  • Ensure that best practices are utilized throughout the enhancement process.

  • Continuously receive feedback on system and processes and identify where enhancements should be made and when then can be accommodated.

Management Responsibility:

  • Management of large scale projects which span multiple internal departments as well as outside vendors.

  • Work independently on creating project plans and overall scope for projects.

  • Manage project plans and financial budgets to ensure projects stay on track.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university

5+ years of relevant work experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE:

Strategy – Demonstrate proven ability for translating strategic goals into clear action plans, and tactical implementation.

Leadership – Demonstrate leadership skills through ability to manage and lead others that are not direct reports; work and communicate effectively (written and verbally) with stakeholders in a matrix environment.

Knowledge – Should have knowledge regarding field sales strategies, market access strategies and strong working knowledge of system implementation and project planning.

Technical Abilities – MS Office products and strong ability to quickly understand data architecture and resolve issues.

Planning and Organization – Prioritize activities; take structured and systematic approach to all key activities; demonstrate strong project management skills by effectively coordinating and mobilizing resources; advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Goal Oriented – Consistently structure own and others’ activities in terms of concrete, measurable objectives or outcomes, support continued growth in sales, seek and provide feedback on own and group performance.

Adaptability – Quickly identify key issues and make appropriate judgments. Work upon and potentially lead a wide variety of cross functional projects within and outside of the FFA team.

Innovation – Display original thinking and creativity; develop innovative approaches to solving business challenges, and improve ways of working for overall effectiveness of the customer facing organizations. Produce actionable recommendations and drive solutions with partners within the sales organization and Field Operations teams.
