Our Team:

The Shopper, Consumer Promotion and Health Care Professional Marketing Lead NA is responsible for developing and executing effective marketing strategies that drive brand engagement and sales through targeted shopper/consumer promotions and health care professional (HCP) outreach. This role requires a strategic thinker who can innovate at the intersection of consumer behavior and health care professional engagement to enhance brand loyalty and market share.

Main Responsibilities:

Strategy Development:

  • Develop integrated marketing strategies that align with the commercial and brand teams overall objectives, focusing on shopper, consumer promotions and HCP engagement.

  • Analyze market and channel trends, shopper, consumer behaviors, and competitive landscapes to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams ~ including commercial and brand teams, to ensure cohesive strategy implementation

Shopper & Consumer Promotions:

  • Lead the creation and execution of innovative promotional campaigns and key tentpole events targeted at enhancing shopper experience and driving purchase decisions.

  • Work closely with retail partners to develop joint marketing programs that maximize reach and effectiveness.

  • Measure and report on the performance of consumer promotion campaigns, optimizing approaches based on data-driven insights.

Health Care Professional Marketing:

  • Design and implement marketing programs aimed at educating and engaging health care professionals to advocate for the brand’s products.

  • Develop educational materials and conduct seminars and workshops to inform HCPs about the latest product benefits and scientific advancements.

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, professional associations, and academic institutions in the health care sector.

Performance Analysis and Reporting:

  • Track and analyze KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of shopper/HCP campaigns and initiatives

  • Provide regular reports and presentations on shopper/HCP activities, campaign results, and ROI.

  • Utilize data insights to identify opportunities for improvement and make strategic recommendations.

Team Leadership & Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 3 direct reports (as well as contract professionals) that is skilled in both consumer and professional marketing tactics.

  • Ensure that the team remains highly motivated and exceeds their individual and collective goals.

  • Manage budget allocations for promotional activities and HCP engagements, ensuring optimal use of resources for maximum impact

Compliance and Regulatory Oversight:

  • Ensure all marketing materials and activities comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements, particularly those specific to health care products.

  • Stay updated with changes in marketing regulations and guidelines in both the consumer retail and health care sectors.

About You:

Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

  • Proven experience (12+ years) in shopper/HCP marketing, preferably in the healthcare or consumer goods industry.

  • Strong understanding of shopper and healthcare professional marketing strategies and best practices.

  • Demonstrated leadership experience, including managing and developing a team

  • Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable shopper/HCP strategies.

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with internal teams and external stakeholders.

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives.

  • Proficiency in shopper/HCP marketing tools and platforms

  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in the healthcare industry is desirable.

  • Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in using marketing analytics tools.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to navigate complex cross-functional environments.
