Sanofi Group Scientific Communications & Publications Lead, in Bridgewater, New Jersey

Mission

Ensure development and execution of an effective strategic scientific communication plan for two diabetes products, by collaborating closely with the head of the Franchise(s), medical, clinical development, other publication directors, the internal communication/medical teams and external stakeholders.

Principal activities:

  • Drive and Execute Scientific Communication Strategy and Planning Process .

  • Lead and execute the new and on-going publications and related project in collaboration with clinical development, medical colleagues, defining the target congresses speakers and develop the presentations in collaboration with medical, development and KTL teams

  • Develop and drive an strategic plan of the key presentations and anticipation of key competitors questions for pre- during and post ADA, EASD and other principal strategic congresses.

  • Lead and execute the internal and external meetings for strategical planning, publication development and related presentations.

  • Define scientific gap in publication of new findings/analysis of the new or existing databases in collaboration with medical affairs and other key stakeholders to reassure integration in all relevant activities.

  • Drive and execute compliantly the development, up to acceptation, of the primary and secondary manuscripts, define priorities, tactics and journals with the close collaboration with the investigators and medical team.

  • Identify and manage the development of review manuscripts and supplements on the global level and in collaboration with the affiliates.

  • Manage data repository of Scientific Communication team and Diabetes web site, structure, contact, regular updates with the latest documents, newsletters, prepare the plan to optimize affiliates contributions.

  • Make alignment between DCV SciComm team in terms of presentation of the plans, reports, KPI.

  • Provide a clear communication with internal and external stakeholder on activities of the Scientific communication team via newsletters and regular updates.

  • Effectively map and interact with KTLs to seek advice for results and data interpretation when needed.

  • Map release of the new competitors’ studies and define the plan to maximize our data release.

  • Inform staff of key scientific communication activities continuously and on the monthly basis.

  • Review and comment on publication via CLEAR and Matrix platform.

Profile

• PhD, PharmD or MSc

• Over 5 years of experience in pharma industry

• A good publication record or publication experience, and knowledge of the Good Publication Practice guideline and the current environment would be beneficial
