Sanofi Group SCCore DRP ITS Deployment Senior Expert – SCCore Program in Bridgewater, New Jersey


The DRP ITS Deployment Senior Expert is responsible for the ITS related activities of the implementation of the DRP processes and tools for his region according to the roadmap. The Distribution Requirement Planning (DRP) stream is embedded in the overall Supply Chain Planning stream. He works in close collaboration with his Business counterpart, the DRP Business Deployment Senior Expert. This includes to:

  • Lead the implementation of the DRP processes on ITS side in alignment with SCCore roll-out strategy and roadmap

  • Be the advocate of the Core Model and minimize the needs for localization

  • Support the change management and growing capabilities

  • Contribute to securing the roadmap and supporting project management on its stream

  • Design standardized E2E processes to generate business value for the Group and deliver best in class collaborative solutions to our Customers

  • Deliver innovative state of the art tools enabling Supply Chain as a Global Function

  • Secure SC functionalities in SHIFT program and ensure consistency of business and IT architecture

The SCCore Program covers Business end-state and IS solutions for the Supply Chain & Industrial area, and is articulated with SHIFT Program .

This program is structured around key transverse topics and 5 main streams :

  • Transverse: Business & IT Architecture, Roadmap design and value case, PMO, Change Management and Master Data Management

  • 5 main streams: SC Planning, Distribution (transport & warehousing), Customer service, Manufacturing and Analytics/BI


In this context the main duties of the DRP ITS Deployment Senior Expert are:

Lead the implementation of the DRP processes on ITS side in alignment with SCCore roll-out strategy and roadmap

  • Lead the site readiness assessment for the DRP process focusing on process, data and integration aspects

  • Support his Business counterpart in the Core Model assessment by performing the fit/gap analysis and defining the needs for localization with the objective to stick as much as possible to the core model

  • Drive the “localization” of the solution:

  • Write the functional specification with the support of solution experts

  • Coordinate with the Core Team and follow up on the delivery of the localization

  • Prepare and perform the unit testing

  • Manage integration-related activities with the support of the Core Team and form local ITS teams: data hub management, local interfaces, etc.

  • Drive the system integration testing: testing plan, strategy & testing material localization, SIT execution

  • Support the User Acceptance Testing

  • Drive the MDM, Data Quality and Data Migration activities with the support of the Core Team: quality assessment, migration strategy localization and detailed approach, migration localization and testing

  • Drive the dry run

  • Drive cutover activities

  • Provide support to users post go-live

Be the advocate of the Core Model and minimize the needs for localization

  • Work in collaboration with the DRP Business Deployment Senior Expert to ensure the core model is agreed to and the localization are kept to a minimum

  • Challenge any localization requirement with the support of the Core DRP Stream

Support the change management and growing capabilities

  • Support the DRP Business Deployment Senior Expert in managing change management and growing capabilities

  • Support and contribute to users training: strategy localization, planning definition, training material localization, end-users training

  • Perform post go-live maturity assessments and define improvement action plans

Contribute to securing the roadmap and supporting project management on its stream

  • Manage ITS-related project activities for the DRP stream and ensure deliverables are delivered in time

  • Identify risks and propose Mitigation plan

  • Escalate relevant issues and risks to SCCore Supply Chain Planning ITS Project Manager or to ITS IA North America Supply Chain Head in due time

  • Guarantee the roll-out methodology and deployment kit is applied for his stream and region


Educational Background

  • Master Degree in Business Management/Supply Chain or Logistics preferred

Professional Experience

  • Demonstrate a good track record in the Supply Chain Planning/ DRP area, preferably in a Pharmaceutical / Consumer Products industry

  • Strong Knowledge in SC planning and Operational Experience in Supply Chain Planning/ DRP min 5 years

  • Hands on experience on managing complex stream processes and with experience of implementing such processes

  • Experience translating business needs into process and implementation requirements in an IT implementation environment

  • Experience working in program mode

  • Strong expertise on the stream area

  • Expertise on Advanced Planning Systems (APS)/ DRP Systems, Kinaxis solutions knowledge is a plus

  • Ability to reach consensus

  • Ability to create change management momentum, motivate/convince people

  • Open minded and active listening

  • Process design and business requirements definition capabilities

  • Capacity to formalize concepts and expectations

  • Fluent in English, French/Spanish is a plus
