Position Summary

The Category Regional Leads of Sales, Events, PIPD – Marketing & Sales would have responsibility of overall business partnering with the CHC Region Leadership team and full accountability to deliver all procurement KPIs for their Marketing & Sales category in the region.

The key focus of this role is to collaborate with the category team in formulating pragmatic and effective strategies combined with a robust approach / implementation plan in alignment with the regional stakeholders, and drive the projects in the region. The candidate would demonstrate maturity to navigate in complex environments, a strong leadership & business acumen to drive priority initiatives for delivering the cost savings & maximum value to the business.

Key Accountabilities

Strategy

  • Support in development of competitive & innovative procurement category strategies that are:

  • based on market intelligence: assessing risks and opportunities.

  • collaboratively built, fully aligned with the business, delivering cost reduction and significant value.

  • Translate global marketing categories vision, strategy and projects in the region and execute to ensure delivery aligned with the targets

  • Drive the development of new market innovation opportunities (new suppliers and technologies).

  • Integrate sustainability strategic objectives into local project plans, be accountable for achieving domain targets in your regions

Leadership

  • Create an integrated and effective marketing procurement network with in the region - working towards common objectives

  • Contribute in upskill marketing sourcing capabilities for all buyers and peers across regions

Contract & Relationship Management

  • Lead regional supplier relationship management (SRM) and lead negotiations on regional sourcing cases. Interface directly with regional supplier CEOs and leadership to assure objectives are met.

  • Set regional and local KPIs and monitor supplier performance. Continuously drive improvements in performance of the suppliers in all relevant areas of service level, costs, delivery, quality.

  • Ensure compliance with master service agreements

  • Escalate / manage issues that may impact the global Marketing and Sales procurement

  • Ensure that risk management assessment and risk mitigation strategies are in place in close collaboration with the business

Business Collaboration & Partnering

  • Responsible to lead overall Procurement business partnering with Regional CHC Head and CHC Regional leadership team for their category

  • Business partner role to the regional marketing amnagers, the commercial operations heads and the local GMs. Build credibility and trust with the stakeholders. Develop a deep understanding of the business to ensure all their needs are aligned and incorporated within the procurement strategic priorities

  • Partner with the regional and local sustainability teams to build a plan to deliver against B-Corp commitments

  • Enable collaborative partnering within CHC internally and across the supplier network

  • Work collaboratively with peers (Remain Co procurement) to ensure the successful implementation of the CHLOE carve-In transition

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Procurement or equivalent.

  • 5+ years of procurement experience, with significant regional/global team management experience or business category equivalent.

  • Good understanding of marketing procurement

  • Good hands-on experience in delivering significant cost savings initiatives

  • Strong project management, negotiations and analytical skills

  • Highly effective written and verbal communication, interpersonal and influencing skills Autonomous with a high level of drive and energy

  • Ability to skillfully navigate in complex global/regional matrix environment & adaptability of style to fit the relevant audience

Language & Cultural

  • Fluent in English; Key regional language a plus

  • International and multi-cultural mind set
