Sanofi Group Regional Planning & Operations Lead in Bridgewater, New Jersey
The primary purpose of the role is to support in the achievement of the long-term strategic plan of CHC North America and the short term delivery of business objectives. This leader provides direct support to the CHC Region Head to run the Region and deliver growth by ensuring the delivery of strategic initiatives, identifying areas for simplification/harmonization, and communicating objectives between departments and teams while keeping the priorities on track. (Project Management). The role also requires building project planning, governance and processes to increase efficiency and improve speed in alignment and execution and identify and report key metrics to track performance (Governance/Processes). The role also entails the execution of key business initiatives that will drive business operations and performance, inform resource allocation and support portfolio approach strategy (Operations/Performance).
This person in the role has a leadership role and is responsible to drive and implement certain projects across NA CHC.
The Regional Planning & Operations Lead is based in Bridgewater, NJ.
Support NA Head in day by day business operations, resource management, budget allocation, strategic planning and business reviews;
Identify and lead transversal projects in line with the execution of Global CHC roadmap and key initiatives, bringing the right stakeholders together to accomplish and coordinating and maintaining robust tools for tracking and monitoring KPIs
Responsible for prioritization, coordination and project management of project activities; ensures knowledge sharing and alignment across CHC NA
Cross functional support to ensure awareness and understanding of the different challenges and opportunities internally and externally
Support the internal communications strategy development and execution to drive alignment and engagement across the Region including weekly correspondence, Town Halls, Annual Forums, Sales Meetings, etc.
GOVERNANCE & PROCESSES
Develop and optimizes internal processes, best practices and put in place improvement plans to meet business objectives and simplify / harmonize across the NALT
Support smooth business plan and forecast processes including suggesting areas for improvement and/or simplification, working closely with Ops Council and NALT.
Support the NA Head and the GBU in the execution of the Governance and the organization of Committees with clear agendas and accountabilities.
Support and guarantee the implementation of actions and decisions of Committees to support smooth execution and timely deliverables.
Review and support improvements in alignment and coordination of presentations and messages for Regional and Global Committees and ad hoc meetings; ability to represent the NA Head if needed in certain meetings.
Ensure the execution of key business initiatives that will drive business operations and ultimately Region performance;
Provides operational support to Head, NA CHC and his/her leadership team to help ensure strong collaboration, alignment and information sharing;
Supports emerging business priorities. Proactively highlights potential business issues to the Head, NA CHC America and support him/her in addressing them. Coordinate with other groups as necessary
Supports the correct execution of investments with Finance team and ensure the coordination thereof along the financial calendar
Partner with HR Head and Region Head in monitoring the collective impact and behaviors of the NA Leadership team and Ops Council in alignment with agreed to Norms and Sanofi Play to Win Behaviors
Works closely with CHC Communications in coordinating and gaining alignment for critical communication events/activities such as Town Hall meetings, and other employee meetings for the team
Takes personal accountability to use personal experience and knowledge, as well as the training and tools provided by Sanofi, to maintain a good knowledge and understanding of all ethics and governance relevant to the role (including the Industry Code of Practice, Sanofi Policies and Procedures and any relevant legal requirements); and demonstrate personal leadership in applying these to all work undertaken.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Level of any Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Finance, MBA preferred
10 years or more experience in the in the FMCG or pharmaceutical industry and/or consulting background.
Certified Project Manager with experience leading complex projects
Knowledge of the consumer or healthcare industry preferred.
Strong analytics experience and
Solid business acumen
Proven ability to leverage influencing skills to achieve results
Demonstrated ability to accurately assess, convey and organize business plans and tasks across teams
