Soliqua US Professional Strategy Lead , U.S. Diabetes Business Unit

Job Summary:

Member of the U.S. Soliqua Brand leadership team; responsible for working collaboratively with the US Soliqua Brand Lead and the global professional lead to develop the Soliqua proessional strategy, inclusive of positioning, creative, and, messaging, as well as leading the team of people responsible for developing the tactics to execute upon it. Key priorities include development of the A&P investment strategy and operating plan inclusive of personal and non-personal platforms across Retial, Non-retial, and pharmacy channels. Must be proficient in developing field execution strategy in functions such as IC, targeting, budget management, and POA strategy and planning. Required experience in multi-channel/digital strategy development and measurement. This role requires cross functional leadership across multiple internal functional areas to develop and execute the operational plan and tactics.

Soliqua Medical Lead

US Diabetes Communications

Primary Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Assist in the development of the Soliqua US professional strategy, operating plan, marketing mix, and budget

  • Assist in the professional and consumer positioning, creative, and messaging

  • Develop the Soliqua US field execution plan inclusive of messaging, samples, targeting, budget allocation, etc for POAs and significant competitive market events that may affect/impact Soliqua demand generation

  • Responsible for development of multi channel investment strategy inclusive of media, digital, and CRM across consumer and professional channels

  • Lead for relationship management with Agencies of Record

  • Act as a liason between field sales and Soliqua marketing

  • Lead the team responsible for the development of tactics to support the professional and consumer strategy across personal and non personal promotion and across channels and customers of focus

  • Lead the team responsible for the field communication strategy and training for Soliqua

  • Manage the internal legal, regulatory, and medical review and approval of new materials to enable responsible promotion

  • Manage budgets and closely monitor performance, ensuring cost effective delivery and positive ROI of all programs

Educational background and key experience:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • MBA or other advanced degree is a plus

Experience:

  • Minimum 5-7 years of pharmaceutical experience

  • Marketing experience preferred

  • Relevant experience in development of pharmaceutical professional campaigns and tactics preferred

  • Multichannel CRM and digital experience preferred

  • Successful track record in the pharmaceutical/biotech or agency industry with 3+ years relevant experience

  • Launch experience preferred

  • Diabetes experience preferred

  • Significant experience leading cross-functional groups

Key skills and competencies:

  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

  • Experience of leading a team, working with field sales forces and managing a budget

  • Has significant knowledge of regulatory environment and has proven track record of managing tactical design, messaging and execution in industry

  • Shows ability to use appropriate interpersonal styles and techniques and is able to modify one’s behavior to gain acceptance of ideas or plans

  • Is able to focus and guide others in accomplishing work objectives without direct line leadership

  • Can build networks to obtain cooperation without relying on authority or supervision

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with and influence a cross-functional, matrix group
